I just purchased the Khumbu jacket for my husband. He is 6"1

The North Face Redpoint Insulated Jacket - Men's

I just purchased the Khumbu jacket for my husband. He is 6"1 and 220. I want a winter coat also. We live in KC, MO. It gets "cold" but he doesn't wear a jacket that often bc he does get warm easy. Is this a good winter coat to have also with the Khumbu jacket or not? Or are they the same?
