SRAM Red Front Derailleur

SRAM Red Front Derailleur

Rating for this product: 5 October 29, 2011

I put together a group with force shifters/crankset, apex rear derailleur/11-32t cassette, and this red front D on my cx bike. I love how it shifts, and it's neat I was able to mix/match so many parts and end up with a system that is far more smooth and responsive than my Ultegra group (on another bike). For 75 bucks (on bonktown) this can't be beat.

The North Face Vostok Down Parka - Men's

December 19, 2010

Does the sizing on the Vostok line up with the McMurdo? I can't find a Vostok locally to try on before I order. I fit nicely in a TNF McMurdo size M, but have a size L Denali. I'm guessing their parka sizing lines up...but just checking to be sure. I'm 6'0, 185-190 athletic build.

Favorite gloves so far, until I ruined them!

Fox Racing Attack Glove - Men's

Fox Racing Attack Glove - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 August 24, 2009

I've ordered alot of gloves from chainlove/backcountry/huckandroll, and these are my favorite. I prefer no velcro strap. They are comfy, cool, and they protect well. I ruined my right glove in an on asphalt wipeout and tore up the knuckles pretty bad, but my hand was fine. Time to order more!

Marmot Alpinist Jacket - Men's

April 8, 2009

I saw them up on SAC, and ordered a large and XL. The XL is perfect. The large is too tight in my shoulders. Thanks for the advice Ryan.

Marmot Alpinist Jacket - Men's

March 31, 2009

I really want to buy this jacket. It seems like a bugger to fit though. I'm 6'0" and 220, long torso. I don't think I have terribly long arms, but I have good sized shoulders and arms (former farmer). I also have a beer gut that comes and goes like the tides. I doubt I will ever wear any mid layers more than a hoodie underneath. I'm leaning toward XL just to be safe. Do you think that sounds right? For what it's worth, I have a TNF Free Thinker II in XL that fits me perfectly.

I will never not own a shell like this

The North Face Free Thinker II Jacket - Men's

I'm truly and deeply in love with Gore-tex Pro. It sheds water like a yellow rubber raincoat, yet is incredibly breathable. It blocks the wind so well, it's hard to imagine how it blocks out the rain/water. I find that I have to wear less layers with this than with other shells I own because of the wind protection. I use mine for winter biking, snowboarding, and every day wear if the elements are being elemental. I mean, why pay this much for a coat and not get its benefit all the time?

Great boots from Burton. They are comfy, supportive, stiff. I got them in black...kinda regretting not getting them in green/white/black. But great boots nonetheless.
