K2 Escape 5500 Unlimited Alpine Ski

I had a pair of K2 Escape 5500s for just under a year. Initially the ski cap cracked in the curve of the tip. It broke off leaving a 2x3 section capless. Later, after hitting a jump the ski bent severly. The front of the ski is now elevated 6-8 inches, the tail about 1 inch. Trashed! They were fun while they lasted. Great in the bumps. I shipped them back. It seems the lack of cap may have contributed to the collapse of the ski. Hopefully K2 sees it that way. I would like a replacement.
