Mountain Hardwear Zonal Vest - Men's

Mountain Hardwear Zonal Vest - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 March 1, 2012

This is an awesome vest and the green is super kewl. The only downside is that the arm holes are a little snug (hence four stars). The fleece lined pockets are the best!

MontBell Ultralight Thermawrap Vest - Men's

MontBell Ultralight Thermawrap Vest - Men's

Rating for this product: 2 March 1, 2012

I've been trying to find a synthetic vest for awhile now and it has been a real miss. This vest was one of my attempts at a vest and WOW is this vest over priced. When compared to Mountain Hardware or my Patagonia, this vest looks like it should come from Target. It feels like it should be worth $20, not $114.95. Spend the extra $15-$20, you'll be very happy.

Mountain Hardwear Le Hoody Royale Full-Zip Sweatshirt - Men's

Mountain Hardwear Le Hoody Royale Full-Zip Sweatshirt - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 December 19, 2011

This is a pretty solid hoody. It has thumb holes, deep front pockets, roomy hood, and a hole in the right pocket to feed a headphone cord through. My only recommendation would be to order a size up. It runs a little small.

Good but a hair strange

Mountain Hardwear Le Hoody Royale Full-Zip Sweatshirt - Men's

Mountain Hardwear Le Hoody Royale Full-Zip Sweatshirt - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 December 1, 2011

Like a previous reviewer mentioned about last year's model. This sweatshirt runs small, so order a size up. Also, if you think the stitching on the back between the shoulders blades is messed up, it isn't. It is not supposed to be straight. I only know this because I exchanged the one I had and it is on the new one too. The front pockets are nice and deep, nothing will fall out of them. The thumb holes on the cuffs are subtle, nice touch.

Do kids wear anything else?

KEEN Coronado Shoe - Boys'

KEEN Coronado Shoe - Boys'

Rating for this product: 4 June 15, 2011

These shoes are pretty true to Keen size and they look like a total throw back to 1950's Chuck Taylor's. My only complaint and it is a super minor one is that the tongue on the shoe is a little short. Doesn't affect wear, just a hair weird when putting the shoe on.

Mountain Hardwear Ravi Short - Boys'

Like much of the Mountain Hardware line, these shorts are another great product. Super light weight and adjustable waist. Could even be worn as swim shorts. Perfect hot weather shorts for kids.

Track Shoe

La Sportiva Crosslite Trail Running Shoe - Men's

La Sportiva Crosslite Trail Running Shoe - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 September 22, 2008

The moment I put these shoes on they reminded me of my high school track shoes. Their fit is fairly true to size. I wear a 10.5 Asic road shoe and I purchased a 10.5 in these. The toe box is roomy and the heel cup does just that, cup your heel. The shoe is fairly snug around the arch and the top of the foot. However, while they are snug, it is not uncomfortable at all. Infact, I believe it is part of the design of the shoe. The tread is like wearing tiger claws on your feet. The only way you could get more traction would be to wear actual track spikes. The extensive traction is tremendously helpful on step downhill runs. I would describe the cushioning as being designed for offroad use only. I would also consider the shoe to be a race day shoe and would not want to train extensively in these shoes. I would also refrain from road use. Due to the large treads on the shoe, pavement will wear them bald quickly.

The North Face Arctic Pull -On Boot - Men's

The North Face Arctic Pull -On Boot - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 January 30, 2006

Due to the warm weather in my region I have not had the opportunity to use these boots. However, I found the boots ran a full size small. I'm a 10.5 in everything I wear, but these boots were way too small at a 10.5. I recommend buying a full size larger.
