Perfect Jacket

Gore Bike Wear Phantom SO Jacket - Men's

I love this jacket. I bought it for spring/fall riding in Jackson Hole, and I've worn it on about 5 rides so far. Today, I used it for a quick 50 mile ride in 50 degree, windy weather. Under the jacket, I wore a light undershirt, a summer bike jersey and Gore windstopper arm warmers. It was perfect. A couple days ago I wore it for a chilly morning (40 degrees) ride up the pass and took the sleeves off right before I started the ascent (had arm warmers on). It was perfect. I put the sleeves back on for the descent, which was also perfect. I think this is an extremely versatile jacket. It's not the kind of jacket that you would roll up and put in a pocket. You would be wearing it for your whole ride, taking the sleeves off if you get too warm, and unzipping if needed. Also, there are 2 zips for each sleeve, which makes it a little tricky and slow to put the sleeves back on. To make it easy, I marked my sleeves with a R & L to minimize the time my friends have to wait for me as I put the sleeves back on. I am 6'4" and about 195-200 and the XL fits me perfectly.

Too short for a tall guy
