When it comes to snowboards i usually like to consider myself very loyal to manufacturers for good products. For about a good 3 years i have been riding burton customs to custom x's thinking that was as good as it got, until one day while getting my board repaired a shop attendant told me about Rome.
At that time which was about 2-3 years ago i finally decided to give this board a try and ohh man was i not dissapointed. Currently i ride an 06 rome anthem 154 and let me tell you the buttery smooth ride that maintains stability at high speeds is outstanding considering this board is about $300.00 less than the custom x. From huge natural kickers to nasty park ramps this board can really handle the abuse and is worth every single penny.
So if its good smooth soft feel with a hint of rigid durability that you are looking for the i highly recommend the rome anthem. however the only concern you might have is the easy chipping of the sides in certain terrains, but if aesthetics is really a non-issue then go with this board i promise no disappointment.
