Answer to: "1. Will this work for fast skiing or will it flap - how thick"

it probably wouldnt flap. its not that baggy. there is no insulation, and the fabric is not too thick. with no other layers, it can keep me warm to like 55 degrees or so.probably not ski helmet compatable, but climbing helmet would probably fit.
