I love the Kelty 50th Anniversary Backpack. I admit I was skeptical after receiving the pack. It is so light that I thought it could never be comfortable carrying a big load. I took it out last weekend for 3 days and nights of rain leading a group of Boy Scouts. Not a drop of water inside my pack (I only used a rain cover during the worst of the downpours). The pack held all of my gear, food and water (and some of theirs; 50+ pounds) with room to spare while resting very comfortably on my hips. The hip belt never sagged and the shoulder straps are extremely comfortable. This is the first pack I've ever had where adjusting the stabilizers and load lifters actually make a noticeable difference. Even the little details were noticed by my fellow hikers. I had the only pack with a functional map pocket and mine was large enough to hold the maps, camera and my flashlight. I would highly recommend this pack.
