G12 is a gray lens. C12 is a copper lens. They both have the same amount of light transmission (12%). I have the c12, Havana. It's my guru photo on the page... So you can clearly see the copper lenses aren't as bright as they look in the photos.

This jacket would be way too warm for snowboarding. You could wear a cold wet t-shirt under this and you'd still be warm... Get more of a technical shell that you can vary the layering with.

Some good jackets: Norrøna Falketind Gore-Tex Pro Shell Jacket, Arc'teryx Theta SV Jacket.

Favorite jacket I own: Helly Hansen Stoneham Jacket. Great if you do want a little bit of insulation and good venting.
