The java is almost a dark gray-purple. I don't see anything in it that is brown, but I do like the color a lot. I wear a lot of black and I think it will work well. The interesting thing is that the color IS similar to the one I see on the monitor (ymmv)... so, don't let the name of the color influence your decision.

Have a skateboard? The bottom pocket on the back is design specifically for skateboard wheels. (Unzip it, stash the wheels there, fold the flaps over the back of the board and voila! all secure.) The red color is a very solid, beautiful, shade of red. Seems like a nice bag, particularly if you are a skateboarder. As I am not a skateboarder, it's going back... but giving it 4 stars b/c if you are - this is a great bag and you may like it even more in person.

Love it. Was at a conference in cold, windy Chicago... the meeting rooms were packed and warm, but I was actually pretty comfortable in both situations (outdoors & indoors)... the only thing is that there are these weird seams which run horizontally along the side of the skirt... they do not show up well (or look "odd") on the site, but they are not flattering... so a bit of care must be taken so that they lie flat while wearing. I have it in black and it is PERFECT and travels perfectly.

LOVE IT. With long sleeves and a short collar that isn't tight AND ventilated sides, this is the best of all worlds. LOVE IT. A couple of things the pictures don't show... There's a WHITE zipper that runs vertically up from the hip on the side in the back. Great place for a key, but a bit of a bummer that it's not black (ymmv). The other thing is that the ventilated side panels, being just off-white... are a bit revealing, but I'm planning on wearing this with a cami or a tank... but just be aware... (but I still love it.)

Odd fit - straps too long to shorten for a short person 5'4", and unless you have amazing legs, the skirt is pretty short (even for a short person.) The "Nile blue" is a pretty color for summer.

Have to agree with cwendel620558... Seeing all the reviews, I was also amongst the hopeful. I ordered the red & the black. The neckline was the deal breaker. So... here's what I think may be helpful... If you're short, and tiny, and the neckline works for you, this could be a killer dress. At 150g/m2, it's a lightweight material. The red was a bit sheer, or a lot sheer. The black was surprisingly not-so-sheer. I'm 5'4" and "above the knee" was just slightly below "mid-thigh" when belted. The neckline was not even close to flattering, so both are going back. Bummer. (And I *hate* rating any Icebreaker item this low - a 3 - but it really didn't work.)

If I were to be generous, I'd call it 3". 5"? REALLY?

Other than that big annoyance, nice shorts, lined, comfy. Definite keepers.

It's a cute, feminine, polo. The sleeves are shorter, like on good golf shirts, while not being "too short". Good news - black goes with everything. Could-be-better news - other colors would be nice! Like graphite or navy? :)

I like it. I'm 5'4" and the lower edge of the sleeves is just above the inside of the elbow. I don't have to worry about these bunching up in the armpit. It's definitely snug, but I think this one is supposed to be snug. Nice layering under sweaters & such.

Nice weight, like it.. but, the v-neck is very wide at the top. I prefer v-necks where the side of the v-neck, near my neck, is the same width at the opening (width-wise) as a crew neck. This is maybe 1-1.5" wider (on each shoulder) than I was expecting. For me, I layer a t-shirt over it and it's all okay... but it could have been really cool if the top part of the collar was a bit narrower. Other than that, it's everything one loves about Icebreaker

A bit thinner than I was expecting, but the quality is still exceptional. I'd LIKE to rate it 4 stars, but as long as anyone reading this understands that it is lightweight (which I don't think the description fully conveyed - feels like 150, definitely NOT 200) then it really is a 5 star garment. YMMV.

Gave this as a gift, very well received. The 200 is a very nice weight. I have come to expect a lot from Icebreaker and they consistently deliver. I checked it out thoroughly before giving it and I thought it was perfect, as did the recipient. Dept of Goods processed the order promptly as always and it showed up very quickly. Thanks!

I wanted a shirt to wear that fits like a Hanes shirt. Women's shirts were a bit form-fitting for the purpose I wanted. This shirt is a great fit and works well. This is the sort of shirt I'd swipe from a brother or my husband and they'd never get it back-so I got my own! :)

Got the mystic (bright blue), Ember (soft red, not an orange-red), and gray. Love them all. Trying to figure out what I can pair the mystic color with, but I love it a lot. The gray is beautiful. Took a leap of faith with the red and it paid off. NOT an orange-red. it is not a deep rich red, but it is very nice. HTH

Comfy, well made, love it. Wish I'd ordered two. Pattern is subtle and nice. It's a little form-fitting, so I pair it with the men's Icebreaker "richter" t-shirt in black and it looks great.

Quality is good. It truly does not move up when you move around. Observation is that if you are "petite" (short distance from bust to waist, from waist to hip, and overall from bust to hip) this jacket isn't for you. The sleeves (for me) are a smidge long, and with tailoring, I could live with that. Because the distance for this jacket - from bust to hip - is longer than my body, which makes the jacket look like there's a roll. Not exactly the most flattering fit, I will keep looking.

EDIT: I kept it. Have decided I like it enough to keep it and bump it up a star. The body is okay, sleeves are still long. If you are a tall person, you may want to try this on first. I've worn it for about 30 minutes standing in a light rain. While I don't think it would ever be waterproof, it was at least resistant for the short period of time I was outside.

Great weight, the expected amazing fabric. It's pretty... BUT... what you can't tell (or at least I couldn't tell) from the pictures is that the blue line is printed onto the fabric. Also, the green looks like it's either part of the knit or knit into the design. It isn't. It's almost an overcast stitch (like a dense serger stitch) on top of the fabric. If it weren't for these two things, I'd hang onto it forever. The sleeves are long... I'm 5'4" and normally like sleeves about 1" shorter than "normal" - and these are easily 2-3" long for me. I'd guess it'd fit someone who was 5'7" to 5'10" unless you feel you have extremely long arms. The printed blue part wasn't that bad, but (for me) the stitching for the green (which is the part that looks super cool in the pictures) pulls down the overall look.

Nice bright blue. Smallest (narrowest) crew neck I've ever owned. Quality is great, but it's almost choking at the neckline. Sadly, back it goes.

This coat is amazingly beautiful. That said, it is built with a very specific body type in mind. For those who are petite (shorter measurements from shoulder to bust and from bust to waist) than "normal" sizes, this coat is not designed with us in mind. Additionally, the fit says "slim" and it's absolutely true. I don't believe this is designed for "curvier" women. HOWEVER, if you have the body type, this coat IS beautiful. The fabric is soft, smooth, and truly touchable. The interfacing is a bit stiff (almost "crinkly") and the lining is lovely. If you've got the body, this is the coat. If you don't... well, it's still a great coat; however, I don't think any amount of tailoring would help. Great price on SAC, not sure I'd part with the full price even if it fit perfectly. Sadly, back it goes. :(
