Ok, since this is a staff favorite for alpine touring do you have any suggestions/preferences on mounting location for a pair of dynafit FT12's. Ski length 186, will be used about 50/50 resort/touring (some extensive. Thanks!

Hi Pam, There are a wide variety of boots available that work with Dynafit bindings. The boots must have the Dynafit inserts (look for a little silver spot on the sides of the boot toe). A standard toe alpine or touring boot will not work with a Dynafit binding.

This would be a sweet pack if it really had snowboard carry.... It does not. Unfortunately I can't say customer service is so great either. I wrote an email asking them to verify that it did have the snowboard carry feature or to cancel the order (while the product was on shipping hold) Even Black Diamond's website didn't have any info available. I got no response what so ever from the Backcountry/SteepandCheap/Tramdock conglomerate. Not very impressed.

Does this pack actually have a snowboard carry feature? Black Diamond doesn't list it anywhere if so. Is it a vertical or horizontal carry for snowboards assuming that it does?
