Terry Bicycles Tailwind - Women's

January 3, 2012

The XXS/42x50 has a 700c rear and 24" (600c) front. It looks just like the "grey" picture. I have one in my garage waiting for spring!
From the geometry page on Terry's website: "The 42 x 50 size has 24" front (ISO 520)/700c rear wheels; 42 x 52 size has 650c wheels (ISO 571) front and rear; all other sizes have 700c wheels front and rear."

Terry Bicycles Tailwind - Women's

December 13, 2011

The information you seek is available, the wheel size is included with the bike size in the drop-down menu when you go to choose your item, and there is a link to the geometry table right above it. The confusing sizing seems to originate from Terry; while they sell the bikes by the STxTT size, if you look for a label on the bike itself you'll find XXS, XS, etc., not sure why. FYI, contrary to the description, the XS/42x52 size has 650c wheels front and rear, not front only.

Terry Bicycles Symmetry - Women's

December 1, 2011

Of the sizes on offer here, I'd recommend the smallest 44/50. Terry's geometry/sizing page is at http://www.terrybicycles.com/Ready-To-Ride-Bicycle-Geometry; 2011 was same as 2012. If the 27.4" standover is too high for comfort, then the right size would be the smallest 42x48cm size, but DoG doesn't appear to have that one.
