Great material, great venting, great chamois. Some have complained about the tight thigh cuffs on the liners, but they help to keep them from riding up.

This thing definitely fits the bill. The height of the pack and hydration sleeve is perfect for my 3L unbottle. It has plenty of room while remaining fairly minimalist by creating volume in it's height and width more than it's depth, which is good for the lift. Just enough padding on the shoulders, back and hip belt. Materials are tough and will carry a snowboard vertically or skis diagonally or A-frame. Nice touches like the safety whistle integrated in the chest strap clip and elastic bands to tie down the extra length of strap coming from the hip belt let you know that this thing was much better thought out than your little brother.

This is a functional watch that is a lot of fun. It looks way better than my light blue Timex Ironman that I got at Walmart for $15. The lap timer is the only thing I can think of that the Suunto doesn’t have, but there is a simple chronograph. After a month of not taking it off, I have not experienced any problems and have enjoyed it thoroughly. Best part is measuring vertical that I’ve skied and hoping the storm alarm goes off while I sleep. I’ve played around with the depth meter in the pool which seems to be accurate, but would be more fun if actually diving. As you can see this watch is fun for almost any outdoor activity.

Regarding accuracy, the biggest thing to remember about this watch is that it’s altitude reading is based off of barometric pressure. If you understand this you’re all set, the watch should remain relatively accurate and you will not be disappointed. There are two profile modes: Baro and Altitude. Depending on which you’re in, the other is assumed constant, so you will have to recalibrate as necessary. Example; if you are changing elevation in the Baro mode, it will assume the weather (pressure) is changing. Likewise, if you forget to put it in the Baro mode while you sleep and leave it in elevation, pressure changes that are due to weather will be read as changes in elevation. This may be confusing for you, so luckily there is an automatic mode that will choose the profile for you. If you need dead-on balls altitude accuracy, and your life depends on knowing your exact altitude, get gps.

Go with Roner on this one...keyword is lightweight. This is an excellent quality glove that looks, fits and feels great, but probably not an ‘all weather’ type. Dexterous as hell, they should be good for outdoor Nintendo use down to 25-30 degrees. Unfortunately, since I don’t get mine for free, I traded in for the extra warmth of the Stoic. Sorry Hestra, send some freebies and I’ll rep the shit out of these!

Excellent quality cold weather gloves with great dexterity for a reasonable price. Way to be BC, was that so hard? Returned the Hestra Skicross for these. Hestra SC's were great with better dexterity, but just not warm enough.

My wife loves this sweater and finds herself wearing it nearly every day. Fits great, looks even better and technical enough to wear as a base layer.

I grew up biking with fingerless gloves...looking like I was about to get shredded maxing out on the bench press. Luckily I found these babies. Nice and lightweight, great fit, and the confidence of having full grip for those finger-tip brake levers. Great touches like the old school styling, terry cloth for sweat or nose wipes, and the price is right.

Got this beauty as a wedding gift for a buddy. It was pretty easy to get setup during the plane ride to Vail; of course I landed before calibrating the altimeter. This sucker is pretty sizable no doubt to squeeze in the temp and pressure sensors, but it looks sharp enough to pull off with a suit...especially in the rockies. He was stoked to go from sea level to near 10k feet in Maui.
Call me foolish, but replacing the band once every year or two for a watch you can wear for outdoor or daily use doesn't seem that bad. Can't give it that fifth star since I don't own it, but I wish I did...

Kept me on my skis all season! Didn't have any major blow-outs, so it helps to be a badass...or wuss, you decide. Totally match my Dynaster skis (bottom of the priority list!) but very easy to mount on the Dynastar/Look riser mount. I know its super rad to screw your binders into your skis, but it made for a super smooth ride as I still enjoy to open it up on corduroy. My sticks are about 90mm underfoot, so no problems with the brakes.

4 stars because I did think it was odd that the hitch is held on with a bolt, meaning you can't lock it to your car. The bolt does keep the entire rack solidly mounted on my 2" hitch though (remove insert for 1-1/4"). Other than that, form and function is exactly what you would expect from Yakima. Straps aren't exactly effortless after a few hours on the bike, but they keep the bikes completely secure. I usually use a bungie for each bike to keep the wheels from spinning, but probably not necessary. The mounts keep the bikes from swaying and if you're over 8 years old, you can lower the rack with all four bikes on it to access your tailgate. A little tricky to get my full suspension Giant with the shock inside the big triangle on but still works.

Be careful as I've seen the swingdaddy on chainlove for $199.

I haven't had this jacket long, but after reading some of the reviews and questions it seems it needs to be noted that this is a great piece but definitely not a waterproof shell; and is not advertised as such. This is an extremely lightweight softshell (13 oz) that is meant for aerobic activity. It wouldn't be nearly as breathable if it were waterproof, but it is water resistant and fully windproof. You can certainly wear it in the spring and fall but I won't be wearing mine below freezing unless I'm working hard running, x-c skiing, etc. In following with it's purpose, the Transition has no extra bulk and weight with pockets and zippers, just the one rear pocket with an internal hole for a headphone cord. It also has an athletic fit (read form fitting) so if you are a thicker person it may fit funny. Great jacket for it's intended use.

I have the old Tikka with 3 LEDs. It's lasted for years with changing the batteries only a couple times. Simple on/off, no colors or dimming necessary. The number of uses a small, robust headlamp like this can have is unimaginable. Enjoy Petzel, the best.

Super comfortable. They don't ride up, cost less and dry faster than the Patagonia boxer, though it is a close second. If you haven't indulged to keep the stank off your hanglow, you're living in a fool's paradise my friend.

Super lightweight, great material. Dry fast and lining means no undies! I wear these if I know I'll be swimming or getting wet. Built in belt, zipper pocket secures your goods, overall great pants for just about anything.

I originally got these bad boys to slip on during the winter months. I ended up doing a couple 14 mile trail races in them in thirty degree weather. I am not a picky man, but they fit well, were comfortable and are still going strong. The Goretex can be a little warm in summer. The lacing system is fantastic and stays tight after hours of use. So convenient and waterproof that they sit at the back door for slipping on to take out the dog in inclement weather, or just dewey grass.

Note: controls only work with blutooth. You can pull the earphones out to make headphones for street use, but it's probably more trouble than it's worth. The bluetooth is pretty rad, works flawlessly and is nice to actually know when your phone is ringing while your wedge turn gets out of control. I just plug my ipod in for music, but DO NOT forget the cord that comes with the helmet. It is not a standard size female jack on the earpiece.

Even when you're rolling down the windows, kids on the chair just think your natural instinct to pull the eject on your F/22 is kicking in; until you blow your back out. Still look sick while writhing in pain! VR28 is the most versatile lens that I've used in both glaring sun and white-outs; fit is excellent with or without helmet. Don't worry, no one can see your tears.

This jacket quickly became my go-to. Warm, light weight, packable...everything you need, nothing you don't. Perfect three season piece for almost anything. 800 fill is great but you will still shed a mini tear each time you lose a feather.

Keeps your pants up and opens a beer in a pinch (already had to use). What more do you want? Perfect width, infinite sizing (handy after too much pizza and sierra nevada), cut to length.

Update: I was actually at a wedding in Vail and forgot a more formal, leather-type belt and had to wear this one. I have brown, so it didn't stand out, looked fine and I actually got some complements. Could have been some sarcasm, but I was in Vail, so at least I got points for being different. I definitely wear this thing to work.
