Some things are corky, some things are unique, some things are stylish and some thing are just stupid

These are just stupid, you will never see a worse sight than you wearing these in the mirror, the fold up tight up not any more compact than the lowriders, and the sound is basically what you would expect, pretty awful...but that's %100 to be expected so I didn't knock any stars off for that. They are just so weird, which was also to be expected, but once you open them up and put them on it's on a whole new level of weird.

I bought these for 8 dollars (shipped) and still regret it, I'm puzzled by their very existence in this universe and am currently looking for someone to take them off my hands.

These are modeled of the Koss Portapro, at this price you might as well get the real thing since the portapro headphones are supposed to be very very very good sounding, and if you want something "stylish" then get the Skullcandy Lowriders, I hate the lowriders but finally found something I hate more...the pick ups

This jacket doesnt really have much technical performance, but for some reason i still wear it 4+ days a week in the nothwest. In my opinion is is quite fasionable, clean and simple, but a little annoying when you can start a club of Denali Wear-ers everywhere you go! Its very warm, and really comfortable because its soft fleece inside and out. I like the pockets and pit zips (not mesh lined), and its sooooo light too. The bad part is that its not windproof at all, after you've worn it for about a week the fabric stretches and just lets all air pass thru without a fight, and that makes the warmth of the fleece useless. In your normal size it is pretty roomy and too bulky to layer under a shell, but in a size down it will work ok as a layer, but be REALLY hot so high-output activites like snowboarding would not be a good idea with this as a layer. The nylon panels are very waterproof with the DWR and can easily withstand a light shower, but the rest gets wet and nasty and doesnt dry very quickly.

The optimal use ive found for this is just casual, with a sweatshirt under it most of the time...besides that its good for any cold weather environment that is not windy or rainy - which i cant really call an example to mind.

I gave it 4 stars because i really like the jacket as a casul piece, but its lacking performance.

This is a really great jacket if you are built right. Size up regardless, and then size up twice if you're still not sure.

I put it through some pretty good tests before finally returning it, it regulates heat and moisture very well, sheds water so well that the back of your jeans will be soaked in a rain storm, and breaths well when you get hot on the mountain. The material is as soft and stretchy as a cotton hoody but as strong as a full blown shell

It stretches out about a 1/3rd of a size after you wear it a few times, I ended up returning it because the fit just wasn't right. I'm a perfect large in TNF and this was in an XL was very slim and long comparatively. Still looking for a jacket with the same performance and price....nothing so far

I'm a guy, and picked up the 09/10 models for $80 from an undisclosed location to use on my park board...Ideally I would have bought pair of guys binding but they fit by boots and I couldn't pass up the deal.

That said, these are really comfortable. From a board feel/response perspective these were indistinguishable from my [men's] cartel ESTs....I wouldn't be able to tell the response of the two bindings apart if my life depended on it.

From a comfort perspective however they are worlds apart. Since I bought them my cartels have cut off my circulation after half a day and pinched the toe box on my boots. These solved both problems and for the first time ever I couldn't "feel" my bindings...I was just hooked to by board securely with no discomfort

I put this jacket through some preliminary paces during a wet resort day today...it's pretty bombproof, held up to hard snow, hail, rain and everything in between. Not a drop got through all day and it regulated temperatures splendidly, I was overdressed underneath it and worked up quite a sweat walking up...a little while later I was warm and dry.

The only reason I wont give it 5 stars is that this is hands down the stiffest jacket I've ever felt, the fabric and the zippers are like pieces of particle board and just get worse wen it's cold. It doesn't affect performance but it has kind of a balloon-like fit and doesn't lay well because it's so stiff...just looks weird but still works great.

Move over Burton Cargo Pant, there's a new king of sub $200 dollar pants. I can't believe how affordable these are, the material is thick and quality, and even has a nice lining. They are plenty weatherproof, just like you would expect. They fit great, nice and roomy so you don't have to size up to be comfortable.....and they're oakley!!

The only con is the pockets: there's only 3, and of those 3 the 2 front pockets are impossible to zip up while you're wearing them...so I just leave em closed and never open them because they're so hard to work with.

That doesn't even warrant a star being taken off though because for the price you could buy a second pair, go to a tailor and have him add as many pockets as you want with the material from the second pair...and then still have saved some money over more expensive pants!

Seriously a great deal, I'm excited to have a pair

This took a 3 year old Oakley jacket that was beat to crap, and made it work like new!

I washed it with regular detergent, then with the tech wash, then with the TX direct and this is the result, the best thing is that it's not even a heavy duty high end hardshell, just run of the mill cheap snowboarding jacket material

10oz of Tech wash and 10oz of TX direct did me good for two pairs of pants and two jackets in a front loading washer... ~5~7 bucks a piece aint bad!

I got the "Shoe Blue" colorway, and after a few weeks of basically no use, there's been some really severe discoloration of the soft touch rubber. I used these snowboarding for a half a day and then for a few hours casually hanging out at Starbucks. After those two uses most of the edges have been discolored to a nasty green color, they look absolutely terrible and the wear does not match the use at all. I haven't abused them at all, most of the times I've stored them they've been put back into the included soft bag! The only other place I've stored them naked is in my Dakine mission which has a grey interior which I don't think would rub the blue and make green.

Thanks to Backcountry's awesome return policy I get to recoup this bad purchase, had it not been for the discoloration I'd be totally happy keeping them because they're just fine for what they are, yes they are definitely not studio quality reference monitors, but you can't snowboard in those can you?

I've used these as liners about 13 days this season, and they're already been ruined. The index finger has complete been torn to shreds and can't stay on my finger because the holes and rips are too much. I didn't get them to save my hands, make me warmer, block wind or provide any protection from the elements. I got them purely to reduce friction while frequently putting my gloves on and off, they worked well for that but with the light use I've put on them they shouldn't have been destroyed so easily

These goggles hands down solved all the problems I had with my previous pairs, I'll break it down

-EG2: Fogged almost instantly in all conditions except bright sun, couldn't wear a helmet or face mask as both made the fogging much worse
+Phenom: Never fogged on me all day, from a little rain in the morning, to getting pow blasted in my face while riding, to a break in the clouds, to hiking a little uphill and getting pretty heated while wearing my variant brim, to the blistering cold after the sun went down these didn't fog once!....and all in the same day!

-Mace: Really heavy and stuck out way far from the face
+Phenom: Totally light and have a low profile fit

-Fenom (VZ): bad selection of low light lenses
+Phenom (Smith): Sensor mirror is INCREDIBLE!!!! I've never seen a lens that can make the surface appear brighter and more natural looking in cloudy "blue" light, it's like shining a flashlight on the entire mountain, even at night I've never been able to see so clearly, much better than VZ's blue night lens

-A Frame: terrible pressure on the forehead and just tiny all-over
+Phenom: It's been a while since I had my A Frames but these are about the same size if I remember correctly, they provide a more even fix because the frame appears to distributes it's size horizontally instead of vertically, giving you more side to side vision and keeping pressure even and off the forehead

The only con I can think of for these is the lack of mirrored lenses, but other brands have those covered pretty well. If you want pure function then these have to be the way to go.

After riding in these two days I sold my EG2's and bought another pair with the Platinum mirror lens. I've been sold on Smith's optics, they don't mess around and really know what they're doing instead of just trying to look cool

First day riding with this I flipped over and off a rusty pipe jib, a few ligaments in my shoulder didn't make it out alive, but my $1200 camcorder in the nape/goggle pocket came out fine, not a scratch!!!

I'll update after a few more days of riding but so far it's comfortable, roomy and secure thanks to the straps. Great price too

Build quality out of the box is a bummer. I've had the SK Pros, Skullcrushers, Lowriders, Ti's, Icons 1 & 2 and they all felt more solid than these, these feel very hollow and cheap. How much that matters has yet to be seen and does do a good job of keeping weight down

These aren't very comfortable, but it's because they have a tight grip and holding power almost equal to the Icons, a huge advantage over the SK Pros and you wont have to put your goggle strap over these for them to stay put

Sound quality is as I expected; pretty bad, borderline terrible. Very non immersive and weak...but that's exactly what I expected (any WeSC headphone will do you better if you want good sound, the Oboe's rock)

High five to Skullcandy for the color ways this year, I'm glad that they opted for some solid colors instead of previously childish patterns, purely my opinion but I turned into a WeSC convert until these awesome styles came out

I used my old Icons on and off the mountain, but these new ones are pretty uncomfortable unless you're wearing a beanie. I originally praised them quite a bit but looks like I will end up returning them because I can't use them without a beanie. Your milage may vary but if you have sensitive or oddly shaped ears you might want to stray away

Simple mistake, whateverbut seriously the skirt on this jacket is a real bummer, it's way too fitted even when open so it sucks the lower midsection in. I've had a similar problem on an old Oakley jacket but this is a little more severe. I cut the skirt out with scissors and it helped so much, now it fits nice and relaxed, lays flat and doesn't interfere with layers underneath........I hate non removable skirts

My choice in the store today was between this and a North Face hoodie, while I liked this one more I had to settle on the TNF one because this one fit very slim, not particularly longer than any other hoodie, it's just pretty fitted and the band on the bottom is kind of tight

Its definitely not roomy at all and I doubt that you'd be able to get a loose comfortable fit with this hoodie

I've had a ton of pants and these are the best I've worn, I haven't dabbled in the super high end pants but these have the most logical fit, are really waterproof and are priced right. Free of gimmicks and just a simple pair of affordable pants

I really love the fit because the legs are really roomy and not too long (my FSQ pants were the opposite on both counts)

I'm a medium but bought them in extra large because I love the room, and since they aren't super long, shorter people can still get roomy pants without the leg's being ridiculously long. They end up just looking roomy, not super crazy baggy like I expected, which is great because the XL's are so comfortable, it's like I'm not wearing snow pants at all.

Hours of pouring rain didn't get through one bit despite the lower rating, and I've worn them from single digits in december to high 60's at Timberline in the summer, and have faced absolutely no problems so far. They've also proven quite durable. Only a little bit of fading and wear on the bottom cuffs

These are probably the only pant's I'll ever buy for the rest of my life

Childish looks, terrible color schemes, flimsy build quality, loose and unstable fit, tinny and weak sound with tons of distortion, overall bad product...It's only right that these are getting far less popular as more stylish and better sounding headphones are slowly getting released. Check out the WeSC oboes, they aren't perfect either but light years ahead of these.

Not worth 160 dollars, probably going to return them.The sound is very balanced I'll give it that, but just seems to be lacking...you hear the bass but you don't feel it at all, and the highs are screechy and tinny and sometimes get drowned out by the mids. I had the SK pro's previously and they blow these out of the water, but I'll never buy a pair of SK pro's again because the color schemes are obviously marketed to 13 year olds. Thats where these shine, totally understated style and design that looks sophisticated and interesting while not being over the top (the black version I'm talking about). Also the build quality of these is decidedly flimsy, I wouldn't trust them in my carry on.Get em on sale, don't pay full retail like I did because you'll regret it...I'm going to send these back and try my luck with some Aerial7's or Nixon...If I can't find a pair that looks cool then I'm spending my 160 bucks on a pair of professional studio headphones that will look a little geeky but be better than any style headphone out there...just remember what you're paying for.

After a lot lot lot of searching around it looks like these are actually the best style-first over ear headphones out there, there a very weak offerings from aerial7 and siege that look like they came out of a crane game, and as for the Beats By Dre studios, the sound is pitiful and these blew it away, If you want sound and "style" then grab the sk pro's but if you still want to look like a grown up then pick these up and get ready to look the best you possibly can while wearing a pair of full sized headphones but also be ready to be disappointed in the sound and to annoy all the people around you because of the leaking sound.

To be honest I think it's worth it for the killer style while retaining slightly better than average sound
