This will keep your feet dry and warm when it the water is cold. I use these primarily for kayaking, so I'm in the water putting in and getting out. My feet are kept dry which is especially helpful in the fall and spring here in Minnesota when the water is still fairly cold.

Good shirt, warm and comfortable. The one thing is it's pretty much a hipster shirt. If you don't care about that, enjoy.

These wetshoes are awesome for colder weather water sport. There is even room to wear neoprene wetsocks underneath if you order your size or half a size up. Even though the foot is tractioned, I would switch out to regular shoes when done paddling on overnight trips.

Really nothing special, other than sporting the Burton B. The cut is a bit more generous than the size indicates. The fit is closer to traditional fit than the slimmer fit the sizing chart suggests.

Alright bag. It's temperature rating is true. Relatively light, around 5 lbs is a bit heavy for the backpacking I primarily use it for but for the price its worth it.

I got this tent primarily for backpacking and kayak camping trips. It's very light weight and packs down small. It is a two person tent in the narrowest definition as it is just wide enough for two sleeping bags and not much else. I just got back from a hiking trip on the Superior Hiking Trail in Northern Minnesota and this tent help up to rain, wind and cold. The only caution is don't buy this unless you really want to be close to your tent partner or are using it yourself.

I have had this model kayak for three years (This is the fourth year). I love it. Absolutely love it. I use it primarily on salt ponds in Rhode Island but also on lakes and rivers in the Adirondacks and Minnesota. It is a good choice for calmer waters, as its short length makes it very maneuverable, yet it can and has held its own in more choppy waters. I started as a novice on this kayak and I have become a very experienced paddler on this kayak and because of this kayak. One of the best purchases of my life.

Good tee shirt, very comfortable. Just like said below though be careful about putting it in the dryer because of shrinkage.

First off, these are extremely slim fit, so if you're layering you need to size up especially if you plan on layering. The second thing is the first time I put it on, I put my hands in the pockets and immediately the stitching on the left hand pocket ripped. I don't know about the long term durability but that wasn't a good sign. Overall I like it, but I just wanted to point out those two things and how they might detract.

So I kind of fell into buying these shoes. I was going camping but since I moved from New York to Minnesota, all my gear was back east. I needed a good pare of hiking shoes for the trip, these were reasonably priced and looked the best fit for what I needed. They have turned into my favorite shoe. I wear them all the time. It's been two months of continual use and the sole shows little to no wear. I can wear them all day, even walking, hiking, ect. without getting uncomfortable.

I've had these for a year and they've become my go to shoe for any winter-time activity. They really are water proof (Unlike others that claim to be), once broken in incredibly comfortable and really durable. The treads haven't worn down much even though I wear these at least 3-4 times a week.

You might think that 90 bucks is too expensive for a sweatshirt, but believe me you will get what you pay for here. I had a bit of trial by fire with this, the day it arrived happened to be a fairly bad snowstorm. It kept me warm shoveling and doing other stuff outside even though I only had a tee shirt on underneath (20-30 degree weather, heavy wet snowfall). I have also used it during XC skiing and it was great top layer for that as well. It's fairly waterproof. The sizes run large, so if you get the size you're used to there will be some room to layer underneath it.

Good Norwegian made poles, terrific value touring poles. I bought these as a replacement for my 3 year old Rossi's that bent after a seemingly harmless fall. The basket on the bottom allows for great performance in deep snow.

A good solid t-shirt, pretty durable. I agree with rit3589683's previous comment: I am usually an XL/XXL depending on the brand. I originally got a XXL, which I could probably fit over a winter jacket. I returned it for an XL, but that's still pretty big on me.

I love these pants. I wear them all the time for work, hiking, hanging out, whatever. They are durable, I've had one of my pairs for about three years now and they still look as good as they did the day I got them.

These are decent enough pants. The one issue I have, and it's a big one, is the durability problems with the button and fly. The sewing on the button is shoddy, I had to resew it on after about a month of use. The zipper of the fly also broke fairly easily. I still use them, but more for yard work and hiking and with a broken fly I can't really use them for much else.

This fleece is great for winter sports. I've used it for running and cross country skiing with just a base layer underneath in about 20-40 degree weather and it's perfect for both. I really like the thumb holes. If it's colder out, this is great for layering underneath a heavier jacket as well. the chest pocket is big enough for a small mp3 player.

The one thing to look out for is its cut a bit on the slim side so if you are unsure of what size to order, get a size up.

Size wise, order what you would for a fitted baseball hat. Since it's wool, it will shrink if you sweat in it. Cool design, I like the houndstooth pattern.

First off, this jacket is cut on the thin side so if you are planning on layering get a size up if possible. It is very thin for an XC Ski jacket, but will keep you warm especially when you're sweating. Use it for temperatures in the mid-20's upwards. The one thing you need with this jacket is a good cold temperature base-layer.

I do not like these shoes for water at all. When wet, they get way too heavy. The odor-eliminating lining doesn't work. I wore these less then a dozen times before I had to retire them because they were in such bad condition.

These are my most recent pair of XC skis. They are long and wide, made for more off-track and rolling conditions. I ski mostly in Vermont and the Adirondacks, not the greatest conditions but these skis are very effective for what they do. I have Rossignol NNN bindings and X2 boots, a great combo. You won't be skating like Ole Einar Bjoerndalen or Emil Svendsen, but they are great beginner to intermediate boots.

A good relatively cheap XC boot. Make sure to get a tight fit, probably half-a-size down, otherwise they will not be effective.

Lightweight, good for layering. The thumb-holes are a plus as well. It's made from recycled old plastic bottles, so think of that when you're drinking your next Coke.

I got the navy blue version. Great shirt design, especially the fact it is tagless. The only issues I had was the fit is a bit slimmer and the material is a bit thinner then I expected.

These are odd at first, but one you get used to them they're decent. If you plan on wearing tight fitting shoes, just stick to normal socks because they won't feel any different.

This is more of a light jacket then a sweatshirt. Very heavy, it's almost like a sweatshirt version of the hooded Denali. Great for fall/spring hiking. I hope the North Face decides to make these again, although it seems they will be permanently discontinued.

I have these in 240 cm length. I use them mostly on calm water (lakes, salt ponds, ect.) and generate pretty good power. It is very light compared to cheaper paddles, is very durable (I've had mine for several years) and allows for good maneuverability. .It's worth spending the extra money for the quality product on this one. The one thing I would recommend is getting some sort of grip or tape where you hold the paddle.

As a former archaeologist, I used to use these when I was digging in the winter. I also occasionally used them for skiing if I had forgotten my ski gloves. Very durable and effective even if they aren't the most comfortable thing in the world. They worked good enough I bought a second pair.
