Cloudveil Down Patrol Jacket - Men's

I have worn this jacket the last two days to work in Denver where it has been hovering right around zero at 5:30 AM, with only a short sleeve shirt on underneath. I have been toasty warm for the 5 minute walk in from my car and suspect it would easily suffice for a longer walk. I actually had the pit zips open when it hit the low teens in the afternoon and were happy that they were there. Have not yet used it in any aerobic activity, but looking forward to testing its capabilities. Good looking and warm jacket - highly recommended.

I would have to agree with the other answers here. I have tried using a Brunton Firestorm (also a piezo ignition) multiple times over 10,000 feet with temperatures varying between 20 and 70 degress with no luck at all. Stick with the Bic for a lighter at altitude.

Finally got to use this pack on a few warm weather hikes and it performed flawlessly. I am a bigger guy so have a propensity to perspire and this combined with the proper clothing kept me amazingly dry. As stated in another review, the large suited me well, being 6 foot with a large chest. The AirCore suspension does take away from the interior space when using the internal hydration sleeve but you can still get everything you need and more for a day hike included using the external pocket and compression straps, and that is with 72 oz hydration. I have not yet tried placing the hydration in the AirCore suspension on a hike but tried the pack on with a full 72 oz and seemed it may hinder the ventilation, but I cannot confirm, nor deny this. Overall, I would highly recommend this pack.

I highly recommend these and have pushed them on everyone I know. The arch support is great on these. Not only does it provide great support but keeps them on your feet. Also heat moldable and a very good amount of cushion. This is the first pair of flips that I have considered wearing for a hike (but nothing too rough). I could easily wear them all day and I have very finicky feet. Definitely better than all of the many others I have gone through in past years.
