SmartWool TML Light SportKnit Full-Zip Top - Men's

SmartWool TML Light SportKnit Full-Zip Top - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 May 10, 2012

I'm 6'3" medium build and the large fits perfectly. This is my first Smartwool piece of clothing and it's become my new favourite top. It's light but a lot warmer than it's lack of bulk would suggest. it's not skin tight like thermal layering but it's also not loose like a jacket. You could wear it with nothing underneath but I usually wear it with a cotton t-shirt underneath. Very versatile, I use it as an everyday top but I'll also use it as a layer under a ski jacket on cold days. You could also use it as a running top on really cold days or for cross-country skiing. I bought the blue and it looks great. I'm also going to buy the dark lime.

Great lenses, with brilliant clarity. I've got a slim to medium face/head size and they fit fine, although, they are bigger fitting than previous sunglasses I've owned (mostly Oakleys). The tortoise shell frames look good.

Great headroom for a tall person

Marmot Halo 6-Person Tent

Great tent, easy to pitch, hard to fault in any way. The best thing about it is the headroom. I'm 6'3" and I can stand up in the tent without my head touching the roof. Comfortably had 2 adults, 2 kids and a dog in the tent with plenty of room.

Peak Performance Heli Softshell Pant - Men's

Peak Performance Heli Softshell Pant - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 November 24, 2011

I haven't worn these skiing yet but they look like they'll be great. Just some feedback on the sizing - I'm 6'3" tall, 33" waist, and 90kg. I originally bought these in an XL because I have a Peak Performance running top in a Large and it's a bit small so I figured they ran a bit smaller on the sizings. The XL in these pants was far too big so I sent them back for size L and they are perfect.

Norrøna Lyngen Down Jacket - Men's

January 29, 2010

I'm 6'3", 200lb's, 33" waist. I bought this jacket recently in a Large, perfect fit and love it but now want to buy a good waterproof shell to go over the top of it for skiing in very cold and often wet weather. Something with a hood to fit over a helmet and a powder skirt and something that will take a beating. I'd love to hear any reccommendations on the best jacket to get and the size I would need. Thanks.

The North Face Zot Windstopper Jacket - Men's

June 15, 2008

I tried on the Cipher Windstopper jacket and it felt perfect, particularly the way the material stretched but I don't want a hood. Is the Zot essentially the same jacket but without a hood? If not, what is the best non-hood alternative to the Cipher?
