This is my go to bag for shorter rides. It carries a ton of water and enough food for about 3 hours (for me, I eat a lot). Not a lot of carrying space but that is not what this bag is about. Also not bad to run with if you are into that sort of thing.

I have been a huge fan of Flight saddles for over 15 years. I had a chance to try a Gobi on a borrowed bike on a trip this spring and then immediately got one for each of my bikes when i got home. It is that good.

These pants have the worst pockets I have ever seen. Total fail, no function at all. If you don't carry anything in you pockets then these might be good pants but for the price Arc'teryx demands I expect everything to be perfect.

I have been using and abusing these wheels for about a year now. I have raced cyclocross, crits, road races and some gnarly epic rides. I am a pretty big dude (195-200lbs) and I have not babied these wheels at all, yet they are as round and true as the day I got them. The hubs and bearings are ultra smooth. These wheels want to roll!

For someone looking to make the jump to tubulars these are your wheels. They do it all.

I now have 2 cyclocross and 1 road season on my Eastons and they are as true and smooth as the day I got them. I weigh 190lbs and usually my wheels are pretty much thrashed after a season of cross.

As i said the rims are dead solid true and have never seen a spoke wrench. I am pretty lazy so despite my best intentions I also trained on these wheels all summer too. They have been ridden over 7000 miles and the bearings are still buttery smooth.

These wheels are not cheap, but they could possibly be the last race wheels you will ever need to buy.

I have been riding Bell helmets for years. This helmet replaced a sweep that I broke in a crash (my head is still intact) and the fit is very similar. The new pads are a nice improvement and seem to absorb sweat better than the ones in my Sweep. Every Bell I have ever had has been cool and light, the Volt continues that tradition, it is very cool in the heat. I love the dial ratchet, it lets me quickly adjust the size mid ride if I take my wool hat off when it warms up.

I have to say I am becoming a fanboy of Gore Bike Wear. I ride year round and when it gets cold I have always had problems keeping my feet warm, until now. These covers are super easy to put on completely windproof. My feet have never felt better. I wore these on a recent trip to Bend OR where I rode in temps down to -4 and my feet were toasty and dry. ( I was also wearing a Gore jacket and gloves so the rest of me was warm as well)The sizing is spot on and the quality is what I have come to expect from Gore. If you ride when it is cold then you need these shoe covers

I am very impressed with this jacket. I have been riding with it daily for the past few weeks. My rides are in the mornings here in Utah with temps in the 40's when I start and in the 60's by the time I am done. It is compact enough to fit easily in a jersey pocket when it warms up and the Windstopper is great when it is cold. I couldn't be happier with my choice

I have been using Egg Beaters for the last few years and thought they were pretty sweet until i got a set of these bad boys. I just got back from a muddy 'cross race in Wisconsin and the Quartz Pedals were flawless. They are completely unaffected by mud and the bigger platform means more power to the ground.

With pack I weigh in around 210 so I got the 30" big dogs. In deep snow they are really incredible. My friends that I go with all have smaller hiking shoes so when it is time to break trail they all look to me. . The heel risers are a life saver when you are doing a lot of vert. I am having back problems this winter so I have not been skiing at all, getting thses shoes was the best thing I could have done to save me from a winter on the couch.
