Awesome piece of equipment. It has all the necessary features of a great backcountry jacket: pit zips, snow skirt, lots of pockets, etc., etc. It is amazingly light and packs small. Well, with a fleece it takes the same space as a skijacket with a lining but you will not need a separate windshell which reduces the mass you need to carry when climbing. And, of course, it breathes well but is wind/rain proof. The distinguishing feature of the jacket is its high collar. With the hood stowed in it feels a bit stiff but when put in action this does not limit your movement and, in fact, the stiffness improves the protection the jacket provides because it prevents the collar fom sliding down. If you like high collars this jacket is for you. If not, go for the Sidewinder SV. There is nevertheless one feature I would have incoporated in this jacket -- a transparent window for my Suunto watch. Also, if you ski in resorts which still use lift tickets that are visually checked you would probably want the pocket on the left sleeve to be transparent but that would be a bit prissy for a jacket of this caliber. Read the other reviews -- they are spot on.
