I was very stoked about this product until the 5th day I wore it and the entire back weld split and much of the stuffing fell out before I noticed, then I tested another weld by hand and it started to pull apart with little effort. I may have received a lemon, but I'll never buy anything from this company ever ever again, shoddy like dollar store shoddy in my opinion. good luck luck with it. My Arcteryx has lasted years under far worse pressure. This jacket is garbage.

I am a flow-Bro from 2000, I also ride c-60's on my vapor, which I really like but not as much as these. I actually have three pairs of these TEAM bindings 2002, 05, and 06, and 7 boards to swap them on.
These bindings are for the advanced rider only. DO NOT BUY IF YOU SUCK - if you have to sit down to get them in you will hate them and be unhappy. Now if your GOOD and ride all the time you will adore these beauties and never turn back. I get off the lift and don't ever stop I simply place my foot in place and reach back while in motion, there is no stopping or waiting ever. Thank god my friends with two straps like to boot up on the chair. yay.
In deep pow you actually have to reach down and scoop out the snow with your hand before kicking your foot in. Imagine that, it takes 1/2 a second to do, 1 second to boot in and go will still be your total time, unless you suck then you will wallow in it for a horrible amount of time and curse the day you bought these. I ride 70 days a year and just might be buying a 4th pair of these for my new prior spearhead because they keep making them better and lighter each year.
There is one bone I have with flow and it is a fairly serious one. PARTS< this is problem because the screws will break and the cable will break if you ride really hard fast and big like I do. You cant get parts at the retailers who sell these things unless your really really lucky, that sucks. Flow will tell you that they only keep parts for bindings two years back. so if you cable breaks 3 years later like mine did you have to beg the guy to search for older ones in the back so your $500 bindings do not instantly become paperwieghts. I've broken three cables total in the last 8-9 years btw. The two year limit to me is a terrible parts support policy considering their parts are not all something that you can mcgyver by going to home depot, some like the cable are proprietary and that's the end of line in that case. The good part is all you have to do is call them and they will send you whatever they have free and without a receipt no questions asked. They did not charge me anything for my three year old part and I do appreciate that because the warranty is not three years by any means even though they seem to honor it while they can (I was told I had been sent the last ever available 06 cable to be in stock though).

so a synopsis - the best binding period for the advanced rider. But you might want to order a new cable as soon as buy my next pair them just to be safe

to be fair though break a lot of gear from a lot of different vendors, i charge hard. But The Pair I had two years ago broke withing two weeks, the chair lift breaks them if you don't remember to put your rear highback all the way down the chair will snap them when you sit down. Backcountry.com replaced them twice (same thing happened a month later) no problem and I gave up bought some team flows which are worth every penny off that 500 bucks btw, then I got another couple boards and needed a new pair for my burton vapor and I saw that they redesigned the high back so I got last years model , performance wise I'm very happy with them (and I usually remember to always put the high back down when getting o the chair but not always) I have put about 25 days on them and like the way they are super stiff and super lightwieght, and ULTRA RESPONSIVE!! I ride everyday and love my team flows but I must say, from a strictly performance standpoint, convenience aside, I think this is the best binding on the market for the advanced rider. They are a dream to operate, they never put any preasure points down in weird places and really really cinch down with a minimum of effort even with gloves on. I also like the chatter dampening they give you at high speeds. Yes they are expensive but that is relative too how much money you make I suppose, I think there worth every penny and I can really tell the difference when I ride lesser bindings. You put these on a lightweight board like the burton vapor or a T6 and you have a combo that is an extension of your body, you think, it happens, its that fast. downside is they really cant take a beating like a heavy drake binding can, which are just built sturdier.
I think they have improved the vertical stiffness/crush resistance to the point where its not a problem anymore.

I think the price I paid ($71)was about $25 to much for these but I did wear them for almost three weeks straight as a first and/or second base layer layer when I got them and they still dont smell at all (not even to my girlfriend). I love the patagonia capilene but I make it smell preety nasty preety fast and it often doesn't quite wash out no matter what you do, these burtons are almost miraculous the way they do not collect oders. They are very soft but preety thin for a midwieght layer, still they really keep you warm and dry hiking the backcountry if you wear 2-3 layers. I'm a bit of a chihuahua with very little body fat so I need two mid and a lightwieght to stay reasonably warm with my arcteryx side zips in 24 degree temperatures.

I like these alot they are warm and thick, not as delightlfully soft as the silkweight capilene but I wear these on the outside of the silkwieght for warmth when i go into the backcountry. really passes water out fast even when your hiking for days so you dont ever get wet or moist around your cotton balls.

I love capilene and the way it feels on my skin, makes me want to wear them all the time. But nothing grabs and holds order faster than this stuff so its a mixed bag. Lasts longer and feels comparable merino wool products but the smell, it will make your eyes water after about 4-8 hours of riding/exertion whereas with wool products there is little to No smell after a whole long day out, at least by comparison. I ride alone a lot and like how capilene drys fast and feels like silk, but I'd never wear it when I'm on long trip with my mates.

I paired these with the Burton Vapor and I now I feel like James Bond on a 7 million dollar hoverblade. I'm very happy with this binding, and being a FLOW convert, I am a lot less annoyed at having to strap in all the time than I thought I would be. I've ridden them about ten times so far this year and find them to be a smooth, well designed, sexy gorgeous looking, easy in and easy out bindings with superb performance characteristics. I'm glad they don’t have carbon base plates anymore, which most vendors have stopped making because they create a dead spot under your feet that doesn't flex with the board. These bindings are perfect.

I have taken this board up three times this season, and with the C60 carbon bindings on it, it weighs less than a large can of ale. It feels like a hovercraft on your feet. Think about turning and it happens. It offers an effortless blissful ride. At the end of the day my legs have three hours still left in them for hitting the club later instead of licking my wounds. High performance ride doesn't cut it as description. Riding this board brings to mind words that only a adult film star be using in description. You definitely get your money’s worth. If you can afford this board you will not regret buying it. It’s The best all around board I've ever ridden and I have been riding for 20 years, 10-40 days per year. Although the best choice for riding deep powder is still a spoonbill powder board like my Prior Khyber, this board will be doing on-piste laps with me for years to come until I destroy it on the inevitable hidden rock in the backcountry. The only thing I don’t like about it, it cost so much I've found I'm a bit afraid to bomb down a lot of new and random trails for fear of putting that first gouge in the bottom. I really had to brainstorm to come up a con.

I like how even at 7 degrees F and a wind chill of -30 the goatskin leather is still soft enough to wipe your nose with. These gloves are great. You get what you pay for that is for sure. I bought them because my friend has had the same pair for about 3 years and has been raving about them nonstop. After 100 times on the mountain his look just like my (new) gloves. I used to laugh at him for paying that much but the joke was on me.
