I was looking for a lightweight, versatile, waterproof/breathable ski pant. The Koven is terrific. It actually has usable pockets (unlike the Arc'teryx Beta or Minuteman), has a softer feel, and its very comfortable. The removable suspenders are a good feature, and the waistband is nice and wide. It's not a bib in any sense, but the waist was a bit higher than I expected. It is also a baggier fit than the Arcteryx, but not like a boarder pant. It runs a tad longer (same size) than the Arc'teryx. I wore them during the big, wet snows at Mammoth and they worked great. And they're cheaper than the Arcs! A all-around good value.
