I wanted a tent that I could use for camping and one I could start backpacking with as well. I came across this tent and I couldn't pass up the chance to get it especially with the low price. The tent is incredibly easy to set up and the fly also. The first time I got to use this tent I was camping by Bartlett Lake in Phoenix, AZ. It was pretty windy when we set up camp but I still managed to get the tent set up relatively easy. Towards the end of the day it started to sprinkle and a little later around midnight a full blown thunderstorm came in. The gusts were pretty strong and the rain was down pouring but I stayed completely dry. The tent held up fine aside from a couple of pretty strong gusts of wind that made the tent buckle a bit and unanchored the stakes that were holding my vestibules out. But it held up fine with the guy outs I had set up. The only downsides I have about this tent is that the parts where you can velcro the rainfly to the tent poles are kinda weak so the rain accumulates and drips onto the mesh. It's not a lot but it's definitely noticeable. And I think I lost one of the velcro straps too. But I've seam sealed the tent after that to prevent that from happening again. Also the rainfly lets water get into the tent but just remember to smack the rainfly to shake off any water before exiting the tent. But overall I love this tent!
