If you're looking for a field-jacket style coat that's more Huntington Beach than China Beach, then this one's for you. Military inspired, but no one's going to confuse it with your dad's old M-65. Heavy cotton/tweed and a quilted liner, it's more than warm enough for a SoCal winter night without being too bulky. The cut is definitely regular and the jacket does not have a waist cinch cord. Still, it fits well. I'm a skinny 5'10" 165 and the fit on the Med feels perfect. There's an inside pocket along with two hand warmers behind the lower front pockets. The colors in the pictures aren't accurate. The Dark Grey Ash *is* grey not black and I'd guess the Khaki isn't as olive drab as the picture suggests.
