Switchback pants are the perfect fit for me: waist, crotch, inseam. However, I do not like close fitting clothes!
In a year or two I'll review these pants again for the important things: how they hold up on the trail, what laundering does to them, how they look with lots of miles on them.
By the way, these pants have 2 zippered hand pockets, 1 zippered thigh pocket, and 1 zippered back pocket.
I had read in an earlier review by Meltwater the following: "Nothing to complain, except perhaps a bit unaesthetic whitish fabric used in the hand pockets - looks like your underpants when the zippers are open." Well, Cloudveil must have paid attention. My pair has grey material for the pockets. Although the material is not dark grey, I like the color. I was dreading white; I've heard it is the most dangerous color in hunting season - at least if you're in white tailed deer country.
