Yes it would be great the zip out inner jacket leaves you with a very light wieght over jacket. Perfect to keep the rain of. If it does get a bit windy and chilly simply zip the inner back in for a more robust warmer layer.

i would recommend any one looking for either a ski jacket or even a day to day use to buy this jacket. Looks great easy to loose heat with the pit zips which rapidly loose any extra heat you need to shead. If you are buying from the U.K be aware that another $75 on top of the price shown will be addded for the shipping. Even with this i would still reccomend this to anyone it's a great all round jacket that looks cool aswell
