DAKINE Cam Lock

DAKINE Cam Lock

Rating for this product: 5 February 7, 2011

I purchased this lock because I wanted a compact lock, but I didn't want the thin cables that are on the really compact locks. When its coiled in its case its about the size of a cd... but I can safely lock my snowboard, my bf skis and have enough left over for secure wraps around the stands, or enough for two other friends rides. Its really easy set up cause the cable can be fully detached from the lock, so you can thread it anywhere, and the cam of the lock makes it flexible to attach anywhere. Bonus, a pair of wire cutters won't cut through this cable, so you can enjoy your lunch break

can't get better...

Union Trilogy Binding - Women's

Union Trilogy Binding - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 January 28, 2011

so I have these on my Arbor Push board, and after trying another kind of bindings, not wanting to first pay the amount for the Union, I was kicking myself the first few rides for not getting these. So I got these, with the speedy service of backcountry, and I am uber happy with these. Aesthetically these are gorgeous, ride is more controlled and enjoyable... the straps were a little stiff at first to ratchet, but that got easier over the day. so in general if you purchase Union bindings... you won't regret it

keeps my wrists safe

Demon Snow Wrist Guard

Demon Snow Wrist Guard

Rating for this product: 4 January 7, 2011

after shattering my wrist in 5 places I was def concerned about keeping my wrists and arms safe. this does just the trick, saved me a few times already... they aren't as bulky as some others I have tried on, and offer way more protection than the low profile ones. yes finding a glove that fits them without the help of a friend is a little time consuming, but Marmot Crique glove fits them perfect and the neoprene keeps your hand nice and toasty. I went with the black color cause I am not a pink girl and they look good, mine have red graphics instead of the shadow ones in the picture.

sweet helmet

Red Aletta II Helmet - Women's

Red Aletta II Helmet - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 January 7, 2011

so I got this helmet cause they had more than just your black white and grey colors, and other colors than the ones found in the 80's. I ordered the soft green and was pleasantly surprised when I got it and found white and coral and yellow temple graphics on it... kinda like graphics on the Arbor Roundhouse board like a year or two ago. I was on the cusp for sizing... but I went with the small... it was a bit tight, not cut off circulation tight... but enough to leave a little mark. so I took out the padded lining and just wore it with a fleece hat, and I was safe and comfortable all day long... and the helmet was still warm. very happy with my purchase and I have a helmet that I can tell mine apart

Patagonia Addie Hooded Pullover Sweatshirt - Women's

Patagonia Addie Hooded Pullover Sweatshirt - Women's

Rating for this product: 4 June 16, 2009

love patagonia, and I have an older version of this hoodie from a few years ago, and this newer one I am loving even more. first off the length of this hoodie is mid hip, where as my older one is top of the hip, which is great when you are climbing cause then it sits over the harness, but it doesn't look so great for everyday wear, while this one does. secondly the newer one is more of a fleece than my older one, they both aren't heavy, but this one has that nice softness that only gets better after washing. now here's why I gave it four stars, unlike my older one which was a little more climbing inspired, the cuff bands on the newer one don't stretch as much... when climbing I can't pull the sleeves up to my elbows, or to even mid way on my forearm because the cuffs don't give as much as the rest of the sweater. I am 5'3" and 140lbs and the small fits me perfectly, and I don't think ordering a medium would have solved the cuff issue, but its really a minor complaint cause I still love it and the northern lights color is amazing

another amazing from Arc'teryx

Arc'teryx Escala Capri - Women's

Arc'teryx Escala Capri - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 June 16, 2009

So I am 5'3" and 140lbs and the SM fits great, they are actually a capri length on me... not too tight, not too loose, and once you start working out in them for a bit they do begin to stretch out, but after you wash them their shape goes back again. the little interior pocket is nice for keeping a house key or gym id in, and I am pretty sweaty when I workout, and I don't see any sweat stains on me, or if there is a little after running it dries by the time I am done stretching. well worth the money.
