Patagonia All Weather Short - Women's

I bought one pair (plum) and liked them so much I bought another in the other color (black). I like the length - not too short, not too long. I wasn't sure wether to get the small or the medium - no one likes the too tight pant-induced muffin top, nor the baggy tight pant. I went with the small. I'm 5ft 3in/ 120 lbs and the small fits well.
