My long quest for a jacket is over...

I LOVE this jacket. Let me explain by saying that I tend to switch coats at least once a year, normally after ordering and buying a number of them and returning them... and this one had better last me the rest of my life. I am 5'8", and typically a size 6 with bigger shoulders and wider hips than is typical, and I purchased the medium. This jacket without the vest is actually SVELTE. Yes, I said it... SVELTE. I have a small waist, and it gives me great curves... I tried it on a friend with NO waist, and it looked fantastic on her, too. It is long, giving lean lines, great long sleeves (I am long armed and it was still plenty long when I stretched my arms up), and the color is fantastic. The vest over it gives warmth and a pop of green that is a great cross between avocado, lime and sage.

I haven't actually LIKED the way I looked on the mountain in a long time-- but this, coupled with my new denim-look pants, and I'll be damned if I don't look HOT. :-)

The layering is also perfect for different temps, construction is solid and I am a clothing snob... I just can't say enough good things.
