It depends on the snow. If it's super wet east coast stuff, they can get kinda wet, especially around the seams. But they still manage to stay pretty toasty. As for how long they last, I'm still waiting to see. Something tells me not too long as I already have some minor gashes in the leather from grabs/holding the board. (maybe my edges are too sharp?) I'll post some pictures in a bit...
