I love this shoe for when it's cold and wet. The tread has held up well and compliments the conditions it will be used in....wet. After using these for a while I bought the non GTX version for when it was hot and dry and love both shoes. Fit matches up with most of my running shoes. No issues to date and can't wait to wear them out! I test and provide feedback to gore as a MountainTech..

I have had 4 pairs of these boots over the last 20 years. I have loved every generation. It's a full on leather hiking boot. So not for the fast and light crew. but if you need something sturdy and long lasting...this can't be beat. Water proof and breathable (for a leather boot.) This is my go to shoe for running around town, hiking, or general outdoor use. But it needs to be cold. Leaving int he south if I try to use this shoe in the middle of summer at 95% humidity and 95 deg they will just be sweat buckets. But when it gets cold there is nothing better to keep you feet warm and dry. I do like to add a low profile gaiter with them if I am in shorts to help keep water from running down my legs and in to the shoe. I use this glove a lot when the weather is nice and cold. It doesn't work well if the snow is melting or if it is snowing because it does get water logged. I always use it when skinning up. Lets heat escape while still keeping my hands warm. I really like the loops....not for putting the glove on but for clipping to my pack or jacket when not in use. I have to say this is my favorite glove to wear...except for a few issues. First the good.
These gloves are incredibly dry. I have never had an issue with my hands getting wet. The gauntlet of the glove comes up far enough to make sure that no snow gets in. The leather is suple and smooth and makes working with small items a breeze. My favorite part are the cuffs. No way are you going to loose these gloves off the lift or in some powder. Only thing that would make these gloves perfect would be a removable liner. I have pretty hot hands. So unless it is pretty brutally cold I have to wear something else. I would love to swap the liner out for something thinner and rock these every day!! I used this glove last season while ski patrolling up in North Carolina. The biggest issue there is when its cold and rainy. This glove worked great to keep out the water and keep my hands warm. The only 2 issues I had was that the glove runs a bit small and sometimes it was too warm. So if you have a hot hand and are going to be in warmer climates you might need to look for another glove. Great built jacket. With lots of great skiing features. My favorite is the wrist gaiters!! Not sure how I survived without them in the past. The jacket has been holding up great and I always stay comfy. Breathes well and blocks the wind.

This is my first attempt at using a minimalist shoe. So far it has been great! Comfy for long periods of times walking around and nice for running. I have slowly inched up my mileage and have not had any issues. They also seem to be holding u p great. One place that I love to use them is at the gym just working out. Makes lifting and balance drills more useful. I have not tried on any of the other "glove" line so can't really compare

This glove is the first soft shell glove I ever owned. It converted me! I am a really hot guy...or at least my wife tells me so. The soft shell material breathes easily and the gloves are plenty durable for days at the resort or warm spring days!

Got the pink ones for my 4 and 5 yer old. They love them. Comfy and easy to adjust. I actually like this better than the version with the built in goggles. They are so Roughn them I can see replacing goggles every year but the helmet should last as long as it fits

Generally speaking these are pretty nice and work pretty well. The main flaw to me is the inner liner that seperates from shell. So if your hands get a little wet when you pull it out the liner comes out too. Which is a pain. Because of this I just can't use them.

Best long underwire out there. I really like smartwool stuff too but the thumb holes on this one push it over the top. I also like the zipper. Helps to shed heat on the way up and zip it up on the way down. Can't think of anything else I need.

Great pack. Seems to be a little more Feature rich than the bandit I used last year. I'm not real excited about all of the straps but i think the added functionality will be worth it.

This doesn't feel like a hard core tech t-shirt. It feels and looks like a cotton t-shirt but it breathes and dries like a tech T. I don't think I would wear it running or working out but is great for a hot day at the park or hanging with friends at the beach

My Three little girls needed rain coats and these are perfect. Nothing crazy special but good girls for girls and they seem to be dry and comfy. I will say they seem to run big. SO if you are torn I would go a size down.

I really like this shirt. Light weight breathes well and dries fast....just what you need for a t-shirt!

Used this on the east cost and out west. Great for all but the deepest pow and the hardest hard pack ice. GO anywhere and charge everywhere.

Good bottle. Nice and big and works well. Not sure how the bite valve will hold up but we will see. It si nice that it can close off and stow away when not in use and the little handle/loop thing is nice too.

Great sock but it was a little thicker than some of the "light" smartwool socks I have gotten in the past. Still a solid comfy sock and won't go riding without them.....maybe just not in 100 deg heat!

Nice light weight pant. Belt is nice and pockets are in good locations. Wish the pocket had a zipper on them and the length on the legs are a little long. I wish they had a waist and length option. Especially since they have the draw cord hem and heming them up will be a bit of a pain. But all in all a nice pant. I got the 38 and I wear 38X32. I would say the length was closer to a 34 or 36.

I got the Nano puff pull over and loved it. But it was a little bit of a pain to get off and on in the field. Take off helmet goggles ect. The full zip version is the bomb. Throw it on over a shell or under to keep warm. Throw it back int he back. No issues. Couldn't image not having the piece around. And the weight penalty is minuscule.

Nice flip-flop. Always have had Teva Mush flips but wanted something different. Much more solid of a sole on this. Not as cushing but much more comfortable walking around. True to size. I wear a 11 or 11.5 and got the 11 and fits great. Foot Bed is really nice too with the bumps. Get you a pair...

Lots of little nice features on this pack. Inside there are a lot of little small divided pockets and sleeves making organization easy. Love the full zip front pocket for access and loading. Great build quality. It was actually a little bigger than I thought it was going to be. Could easily be a day hiking pack.....and maybe even a real light weight quick overnighter.

The front pocket is strange. It just stretched out. Not sure what you would put in there. Because what ever you did could easily fall out. Also the pack seemed pretty small. I am a big guy so maybe that was the issue. But just didn't feel comfy. Construction was nice and had nice features.

Super comfy solid fleece. My little girls loved the "furry feel of the outside.....but just couldn't handle the green. Way too "electric".
Thought it would be cool but I'm just too old and lame. Should have gone with a boring grey or blue.

I got a good deal on the jacket off of SAC. Ordered Everglade color. the picture looks yellow but it is more Green than yellow. The one thing I did not like about the jacket were the wrists. They were trim and they didn't have wrist closures. If you aren't going to have wrist closures then the opening should be smaller. If you do have wrist closures it can be a little more roomy. Just seemed like a bad idea for skiing. Either way loose over the top of my gloves allowing snow in or wadded up to go under my glove...

Decent shirt but the yellow pattern is weird and unnecessary. It's not a printed on patter it is actually a spot in the shirt that they have cut out and added another layer of material. That section does appear to be a little more breathable but still seems weird and also uncomfortable. Not for me.

The shell is a little stretchy and breathes great.

If I was looking for a thicker softshell this would have been nice. Build quality was great and the fit was good. I am an XL and it was a little looser than a base layer but tighter than my shells...just what I would want from my softshell.

But.......I wanted a nice thin softshell when the temps got warm and the weather is nice. If it's cold I'll wear my nice breathable hard shell. This was just too thick. I went with the Marmot approach. Similar build and quality just thinner.

Got it off SAC and returned it. Actually got 2 because I didn't know what color I wanted and the fit was different on the two. One of the sleeve pockets were still stitched closed and the other one had too long sleeves. The seems wear really thick and bulk. Generally not comfortable and not recommended. There are other softshell jackets ofr the same money that are much nicer.

This is my go to T-shirt for everything. Running, MTB, hanging out at the pool , working in the yard, whatever. Breathes well. Looks nice and cleans up easy. I haven't found one better.

I'm bald so I have to wear a hat for sun protection and to wick sweat away so it doesn't run down in to my eyes.I had a different experience from the other reviewer. This hat wicks moisture perfectly. Wore it today in 95 degree heat and 90% humidity and had no problems. Super light weight and comfy

Had a pair a long time ago. Tried other fancy swim trunks but came back to the classic this year. And ended up getting a new pair. You just can't beat them for hanging out around and in the water. Dries quickly and supper comfy

Best drinking purchase I have made for my 4 and 3 year olds. They love drinking out of them and you still have the safety of a sippy cup, without trying to convince your "grow-up" 4 year old that she needs one.

best water bottle ever. No fumbling around to open the valve and no leaking. Can drink on the fly and pack it back up with no concerns about getting your stuff wet. Also has a lock out feature if you are afraid it might get squished.

Never owned skins before so this was my first go. No problems getting them trimmed and fitted to my skis...and once I was on the hill no issues. Can't ask for much more than that.

Great in bounds binding. And it tours. If you are planning on going out for a week long tour and weight is your main concern, look elsewhere. But if you want a solid burly binding that skis great and you can tour..this is the ticket. I haven't had any issues with swapping from tour to ski mode. I have about 40 days on them with about 5 full days of touring and many slack country trips.

A bunch of vests have been coming out that are trying to be as good as the Green jacket but they all fall short. Don't believe the hype. The green jacket is the only way to go. Big, small, tall or short. They all seem to fit (unlike the last astral rescue vest)

Pretty nice for the price. We got a bunch for our instruction program and they seem to be working well. Easy to adjust, dourable ect.

If I was going to get a personal PFD I would go with something that was a bit more comfy. Like the Astral Willis..if you have the cash.

I love making winter time runs in this thing. wicks moisture well and keeps my bald head warm. I have a big noggin so really couldn't fit it under a helmet but love to throw it on when not wearing my helmet (eating lunch, hiking or skinning)

I was looking for something to pack on bad weather days when skiing and didn't want to deal with down. This was the perfect answer. Works great as a base layer when it's cold. Or a jacket to throw on when I get to the top after a long skin. Not crazy warm so if you are looking for something as warm as a down coat look elsewhere....but if you want a warm jacket that stays that way if the snow starts falling this is it. Zip up might have worked better but the pullover is nice and easy to deal with...no problems with zippers and gloves.

Light/warm/easy to pack. Everything I need in a down jacket and nothing I don't. My go to jacket when it is COLD and dry

When it's storming outside or it's getting cold, you can't beat these pants. I had a pair that was Gore Tex XCR and the difference in weight is noticeable. Breathes great for a hard shell and blocks the wind too. Even though they are light weight I haven't had any durability issues. If it's going to be real cold or the chance of snow/rain is up, I throw these on and don't have a second thought. Last season was my first year as a ski patrol and I was a little concerned how the light weight material would hold up. Without hesitation I can say that I had no issues. Material is bomber and breath like crazy. I can't even think of using another pant for patrolling. I help test products and provide feedback to Gore through the Mountain Tech Program.

When the sun is shinning and the temp is up you can't beat this pant. Breathes well and makes skinning and hiking easy as pie. I have been caught in some snow at the resort and still no issues but my thighs did start to wet out a bit on the lift rides. Great pant especially if you are active in the snow.

Works well and seems to be holding up. I have no complaints. Never tired the voile so I could be missing out but couldn't imagine I would need anything more/different.

Pretty good. Keeps your face warm when it's cold and dries quick if you are breathing heavy through it. Nice and light and easy to throw in a pocket just in case you need it. I have also stopped carrying an extra beanie when I take off my helmet because this works great for that too.

I tried out a bunch of packs and ended up with this one. Small enough to ride the lifts but big enough to carry all I need for a resort/slack country day. No extra straps or buckles on the outside so you have a nice clean pack that won't get snagged on the lift.

I like it for an outer layer to block some wind during high output activities. Not a great piece for layering. I get clammy and sweaty due to the wind stopper membrane

A little too big to be a carry on and a little too small to check. Might work good if you are not flying but otherwise kind of a waste.

Perfect sock for all my paddling needs. Great to wear in a playboat alone. Also great to wear under some booties when it gets real cold. I've even warn them with a pair of Chacos when the weather has gotten cold unexpectedly.....not a look I would recommend if you want to impress the ladies

I used to own some mountain surf poggies and some NRS. I loved my Mountain surf and these work just as well....if not better. Much better than gloves and the short wrist makes it easier to get in and out.

Great fitting light helmet. No real need for carbon fiber. The protection is from the foam liner. I have a big head and have no issues with fitting. For refrence I had to get the XL sweet helmet to get it to fit.

This paddle makes those long tours easy....well easier. Paddle strokes are smooth and consistent and entry and exit from the water is as smooth as butter

I've tried synthetic and other wool socks but always come back to the smartwool socks. They stand up great and wick moisture like crazy. Also the stink is almost non-existent after a hard day on the slopes.

These gloves are ok. They do breathe well and hold up to punishment. But the thing I hate is the thin inner liner that isn't fully attached to the inside of the glove. When I get over heated and it gets a little wet, Getting my hand out just pulls the fleece liner out too. Not all the way but far enough to make it a pain. Black Diamon Hardface or the Arcteryx Hardface are better choices.

I compared this with the Voile Telepro and the Deploy 7. I ended up with this one. I'm not digging pits all of the time and normally are skiing when the risk is low in very mellow terrain. Also with guides most of the time. SO felt pretty good about not getting the biggest burliest shovel out there. I would feel fine if my bro was skiing with me with this shovel. As you can see the actual difference between the 7 and 3 is minimal. And it fits in my bandit pack much better.

Bought this beacon and never looked back. I have been on a few guided tours and this thing is simple to use. I had it figured out 2 mins after I powered it up. Can't really compare it to other beacons but I don't think it could be any easier.

Nothing crazy but it does want you wan ti to. Prefect for hanging around a "no camp fire" zone or when you are in your tent getting ready for bed. The hooks on top make it easy to hang in your tent to make it a no hands situation but with a lot more general light than what you get from a head lamp. Won't camp without it.

If you ski out west this is a great do it all ski. I've had it in 2 feet of blower and rock hard ice and never wanted anything else. Tours great and shreds in bounds too. Great ski for a single ski quiver.

Only a few days on the boots. I got both the factor and these and decided to go with these. They only weight a hair more than my Garmont Adrenaline with intuition liners. I really like the BOA. I have skinny ankles so I usually have to crank down the buckles to get it tight enough but not with the BOA. Also stays tight when skinning. Great Boot. I was a 27 in my Garmont boots with a 28 Intuition liner. The 27.5 liner fit well. The 27 liner was too tight and the 28 was OK but I was afraid the shell was too big...and that was confirmed with a shell fit test. I have attached a few pictures to compare to my Adrenalines.

This is my favorite helmet I have ever owned. The Variant Brim was good but this is just a hair bit better. Lighter and a more comfy fit to my head. Low profile so you don't look like a lollipop skiing down the hill. Works great with my IO goggles. If you are going to wear a helmet this should be the one.

I was a long time Oakley user but these are the best. They can't be beat. No fog. breathe well. Easy to swap lenses. No issues or complaints. You won't regret it!!

Fits great with both the Variant brim and Vantage helmet too...

Nice shovel. Light and folds up nice and small. I could fit it in my Bandit pack but it was tight. Probably not the best if you had to dig pits all day due to the short handle. Ended up with the Deploy 3 based on the type of terrain I normally skill and my tolerance for risk.

This is the best bag for a week long trip with skis. No need to put your boots in them...just carry them on. You can get everything else you need including your helmet in this bag along with a solid pair of skis with bindings. Wouldn't travel with anything else

Smartwool rocks and this sock is the best. I love it for everything from cruizing around town to running a 1/2 marathon. Nothing but smartwool goes on my feet

This is one of the better light weight soft shell gloves I have tried. What I really like about it is the fact that there is no inner liner to get pulled out or misaligned (like in my north face apex glove)
