SmartWool PhD Outdoor Light Micro Sock

I bought one pair of these socks over a year ago and my only regret is that I didn't buy more. I use these mostly for everyday wear and some light trail walks. They provide just enough padding in the impact zones for comfort while still breathing. My first pair last about 6 months before starting to show wear at the ball of my feet. the best part is thatthe wool bounces back so well it feels like brand new socks each time I put them on. the padding might be too much if you wear really tight fitting shoes but this hasn't been a problem for me. I wear a size 14 shoe and XL are just the right size.

Great socks

SmartWool PhD Running Ultra Light Micro Sock

I love Smart wool products and these are no different. After using their ski and snowboard socks for years I decided to venture into some running socks. They are light and breath well and the material glides well to protect my feet from blisters or hot spots. I run a few times a week from 2-5 miles and wil never go back to another sock, as long as I can afford them.
