I got this Jersey to go with my Optima bib shorts (which I love!). I am 5'10 and 160 lbs and went with the medium sized jersey. I usually expect jerseys of this price range to be a pretty streamlined race fit. This one, however, hangs off me in many places. The fabric is great in the heat and the look is clean but in the 20 mph cross winds and 40 mph descents I was wishing this jersey was tighter. Afraid to return for a small in case it is not long enough. If you like a little bit of breathing room you will love this jersey. If you like race fit, look elsewhere.

High Quality

Descente Optima Bib Cycling Short - Men's

These are my first set of bib shorts and I was hesitant to make the switch. Glad I did. Comfortable material, good compression and a great chamois that is low profile but keeps me comfy. I had a little shoulder soreness on thew first few rides because the way the bib straps have support seams along their edges and need to stretch a little before the pressure is distributed all throughout.

Also has a great built-in ipod pocket on the back so you don't have to worry about it banging around in your jersey pocket if you like to stand up and pound hard. All in all great shorts. Would recommend for any serious road rider.
