Castelli Veloce Short Sleeve T-Shirt

Excellent quality material, nice medium weight 100% cotton feels great especially after spending a few hours sweating into your skin tight polyester jersey. Castelli logo is embroidered and the lettering is silk screened so it looks like it'll survive quite a few washings.

Fit is slim but not overly so, I would order your normal t-shirt size for a fitted cut or go up one for something a little looser.

Sized Normally

Capo 80's T-Shirt - Short-Sleeve - Men's

Check the sizing chart. Order accordingly. No need to size up or size down, unlike Capo's Euro slim jerseys which generally require a size up. Note the black isn't really solid black, more like a charcoal heather and there's no little Italian flag under the lettering if that's important. The material is pretty thin and a bit stretchy, but I still would not size down unless you want to look like a human sausage off the bike. The thinness of the material is a little worrying, it looks like it might snag or wear pretty quickly unlike their jerseys which are always top quality.

Quality Piece of Kit

Castelli Nero Classic Shorts

Very nice, the fabric is silky smooth and provides a bit of compression for hard working leg muscles. The silicone grippers comfortably keep everything in place. The Castelli logo stickers may not survive more than a few washings but everything else oozes Italian quality. The KISS3 chamois is not bad although you might want a bit more support on those all day rides.

Sizing seems fine, I normally wear a small and their small fits snugly but comfortably. Definitely more Euro than American though. The inseam is a bit shorter than most shorts but I'm 5'8" so it's not an issue. You may be less happy if you're 6' plus.
