Great for Skiing

CW-X Insulator Stabilyx Tight - Women's

I bought these on recommendation from a friend - so glad I did. These tights are the perfect addition to my ski gear. I wear them under my Gore-tex ski pants. They keep my knees supported and offer warmth without being hot. I find my legs are less fatigued at the end of a long ski day. One minor complaint is that they tend to drift down a bit in the crotch. Usually, by the time I'm ready for a pit stop, it's time to hike up the tights an inch...overall, not a big deal. I have long legs, and not much junk in the trunk, so I'll blame my anatomy and not the tights. The other bonus is that the tights are easy to wash. They quickly air dry overnight, so they're ready for the next day's skiing. Plan to use these for my cold weather runs as well. Great product!

Longs not long enough

The North Face Paramount Porter Convertible Pant - Women's

I loved everything about these pants, except the length. I ordered the size 4 longs and they were way too short. I am 5'10" and the pants hit a good 3 inches above my ankle bone. They would have been great if I wanted a capri. I agree with the anonymous poster before me - manufacturers need to understand there are tall, fit women out there. You can always hem pants, but you can't add material.
