Burton Delirium Jacket - Women's

Burton Delirium Jacket - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 April 18, 2013

To preface this, I have not worn this jacket to ride yet; it just got here yesterday. But it seems to be of the same quality or a bit better construction as the Jet Set jacket, which I ride in a ton and is great! So here's the deal: I'm 5'9" about 155 with long-ass arms and big boobs and this jacket fits AWESOME (I got a large). Super long arms (which is why I heart Burton) and roomy enough to throw a layer under, but still sort of a chick-ish cut, which is cool. Crapton o' pockets and seems like it'll be pretty toasty. Comes down to mid-booty and fits well through the hips, not too boxy. Oh and the Tart color is awesome. Nice and bright so my friends won't lose me in the woods :)

Gold Coast Evolution Fiber Glass Longboard

Rating for this product: 5 March 12, 2012

Got a ridiculously sick deal on this from WM; I have never owned a skateboard, though I think that being an avid snowboarder/roller derby player gives me a leg up on both carving and things with wheels. Straight outta the box, I loosened the wheels a bit and it was good to go. Took it to Joshua Tree and practiced on all the roads there (figured that would be good since there are few cars and few big hills) - as pretty much a skateboard novice, I found it to be fun as hell! The trucks are nice and loose so it's really easy to turn and it's pretty stable as far as my limited experience can tell. I like that it's kind of a mini-longboard; makes it smooth for cruising but also agile. Love it!!

I have this pack and love it. It straps down tight and the suspension is great - you can bounce all over the place and the bag goes wherever you do. My only complaints are: the sleeping bag compartment is pretty small - I reeeaaaally have to cram it in there. Also, the side straps go over the mesh pockets, so they're pretty useless for carrying anything you really need quick access to. Other than that, a great weekend pack!

Primus Classic Trail Stove

January 23, 2012

This is my first canister stove (yay!) and I have a quick question: when I'm done using it and wanna pack the canister back up, are there any special storage requirements for it or anything like that or can I close it back up, chuck it in my bag and go along my merry way?

Smith Don Sunglasses

September 11, 2009

How about for chicks? Are they just for big-faced men? I lost my favorite (VonZ Hitchhiker) sunglasses to the pacific last weekend and I was thinking about getting these...I have a sort of big face for a girl, but not dude-big. Will they work out?

DC Halo Snowboard Boot - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 April 8, 2008

I ordered at the end of the season so I haven't had a chance to actually take them out for a test run yet. However, upon trying them on and clomping around the house for awhile, these are my observations:
1. They're nice and stiff (I got them because my old ones were too flexible)
2. They fit perfectly true to size
3. They're very warm and comfprtable
4. You can lace them nice and tight and they don't come loose
5. They're so easy to loosen/tighten that a well trained border collie could do it!
