Very Nice Hydration Bladder

CamelBak Omega HydroTanium Hydration Reservoir

CamelBak Omega HydroTanium Hydration Reservoir

This was my first hydration bladder and I have to say I really like it. The opening is really big so it's super easy to fill without making a mess and it's easy to wash out and dry. With the tube trap and hydrolock the bitevalve stayed in one place and didn't drip at all. Very convenient hydration for my hiking trips.

Very Nice Jacket

The North Face Apex Bionic Jacket - Men's

The North Face Apex Bionic Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 May 5, 2008

I've worn this jacket in temperatures ranging from 40 to 65 degrees and been comfortable. I've worn it in light rain and stayed dry and it does a good job of keeping the wind out. My only complaint is the fit; a size large fit nicely in the shoulders but was too baggy through the stomach and waist areas. The medium fits better but it's a bit snug across the shoulders and back unless I'm wearing just a t-shirt or very light long-sleeve shirt underneath.
Overall it's very good.

Excellent!

MontBell Ultralight Down Vest - Men's

MontBell Ultralight Down Vest - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 May 5, 2008

This is my first piece of down clothing and I love it! It's super light and keeps me nice and toasty. I purchased it with the intent of using it to extend the range of my 40 degree Marmot Atom sleeping bag for spring and fall camping. I've slept in it once at temps around 25-30 degrees and stayed very warm. Other than that, I've worn the vest around the house and around town and it's always keeps my core toasty while the lack of sleeves keeps me from getting too warm. I consider it one of the best gear purchases I've made.
