With the standard length of 32, I have to say that I normally where a 32 and find the length slightly too long so that the pant leg cuffs end low enough that they drag on the ground slightly, getting wet and/or noticeably dirty when out hiking. Not a show stopper, but might be an OK fit from someone that is a touch over the 32 in inseam.

Overall I like the pants quite a bit. The number of pockets is great and they are a lower profile so that the pants work well and blending in when in social spots.

Great for walking and light hiking

Good, but cut tight

These work great in the conditions we have here in Anchorage, AK. On icy sidewalks, they are quite good and on compacted snow they are great. The fit on my boots very securely and have even stayed on for some easy hikes. I haven't pushed them into long or steep hikes, but wouldn't recommend these for that purpose since they don't have spikes that stick out and dig in. But that same quality is what makes them work so well around town and on well traveled trails. They have traction without the aggressiveness that spikes can get.
