Works as advertised

G3 Twin Tip Connector Kit

G3 Twin Tip Connector Kit

Rating for this product: 5 February 4, 2011

Worked perfectly well with my K2 WorkStinx. They have a rounded, upturned tail (not true twin-tip)--the G3 Connector holds skins on securely. Biggest issue was getting the original skin clips off my G3 skins--took a bit of muscle.

Sierra Designs Down Moccasin Slipper - Men's

Sierra Designs Down Moccasin Slipper - Men's

Rating for this product: 3 December 27, 2010

Slippers seem great, if only they'd fit. Ordered a Medium that says it fits 8.5-9.5. My son has size 8 feet and these were definitely too small. Clearly you need to order up a size or two. Otherwise, the slippers are as expected.

Mountain Hardwear Mistral Vest - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 January 16, 2009

It's surprisingly hard to find a women's windstopper vest. My wife thinks it's a great vest, very warm, good fit, quite stylish! Another winner from Mountain Hardware!

Great binding

Black Diamond O1 Telemark Ski Binding DO NO TUSE

Black Diamond O1 Telemark Ski Binding DO NO TUSE

Rating for this product: 5 January 2, 2008

I briefly tried these bindings on a friend's skis last year and couldn't believe the difference in reduced friction and fatigue, so I bought a pair this year. Huge difference! I was on a pair of Rottefella Cobra bindings coupled with K2 Workstinx (heavy, with 2 layers of metal). Good bindings on the downhill, but really produced a lot of leg fatigue on the uphills. I found I was much slower and a lot more tired arriving at huts. This year on the 01, the difference is dramatic. I pulled a sled plus wore a pack and felt good arriving at the hut. On the downhill, they are very stiff and responsive. Switching between the two modes is easy. Terrific binding thus far.
