I am 6', 170 and demoed these skis in a 179 at Loveland before Thanksgiving. The snow was hard packed. I tested them on runs that included a groomer and moguls. They railed turns on the groomer and were nimble enough for bumps. I also demoed a 189, but had trouble controlling it in the bumps. I purchased the 179 shortly after and finally got them out this weekend. Saturday, 14" fresh at Breckenridge, they handled everything I threw at them and always wanted to go faster. This ski is amazing in crud and powder. Sunday 10" fresh, but super windy. Skied a few runs off E chair on them steep bumps and trees. The skis did good, but they prefer the open bowls off the T-Bar where I feel more comfortable skiing fast. I have them mounted with a Baron at +2. By far the best skis I have owned. My other pair is a 2005 Public Enemy 174. I would recommend these to anyone that skis in soft snow. I can't wait to get them out again!
