FlyLow Gear Tough Guy Glove

FlyLow Gear Tough Guy Glove

Rating for this product: 5 November 27, 2011

I actually just use Kinco gloves and bake them myself but it ends up being the exact same glove.

There were only a few very cold days last year where i needed to use mittens instead of these. After a few uses, the leather molds to your hand. I can even text with these gloves on! Also mine have lasted over 100 days so far.

I will never buy an expensive glove again.

Awesome board. This is my 5th board this year; the others kept breaking. About two months in and it's holding up like a champ!

I carry this with me every day. Very small, very handy, just watch out for the bit- it's only held in magnetically. Definitely one of the handiest tools around!

Is pop camber just another way of saying "camber"? If so, why make it ambiguous? If not, what does it mean?

real easy to get in and out of, very comfortable, hold my feet in real well, the toe is pretty stiff which helps prevent pinching from toe straps. i'm diggin them.

comfortable boots, easy to get into. they seem to run a little larger than my other boots though. i've always worn 10 in forum and burton boots and got 28 mondo. prob could size down half a size or a whole size.

Spy Soldier Goggle

January 17, 2011

i've had mine for two years of 100+ days each and the frames are still holding strong. mine have only fogged when the vents are iced over, which only occurs if it is very cold and there's enough snow flyin around to get in there.

Ride Strapper Keeper Snowboard Boot - Men's

January 16, 2011

the laces appear to be for show. A cord tightens the lower boot. Velcro stays stronger than regular laces, which will loosen throughout the day. As for the straps' durability, i don't know.
edit: i've now ridden these boots 100+ days and the straps definitely hold up. awesome boots.

Forum Antenna Snowboard Boot - Men's

Forum Antenna Snowboard Boot - Men's

Rating for this product: 3 January 13, 2011

These boots are very light, easy to put on and take off, i like the lacing system, and they are fairly comfortable to walk around in. The sole, however, is very very slick. not good for skating or hiking. I get better traction in my sneakers. Also this might be just my monitor, but the colors are brighter than they looked on my screen, especially the darker looking green.

Stepchild Snowboards LatchKey Snowboard

Stepchild Snowboards LatchKey Snowboard

Rating for this product: 2 December 1, 2010

so i'm not sure if this is the fault of the board or my bindings, but i have ride bindings and the screws are definitely too long. I'm gonna just grind em down i guess.also the nose of the board started to delaminate after a few runs. Also I cracked the sidewall and core, causing the base to peel off the edge. I did that on two separate occasions. i'll be sending it back and i'll try one more time.edit:i got a replacement for the delamming board, and the new one seems up to the task so far. Nice and soft and fun and i like the reg camber for cruising groomers. I've had Ride and K2 bindings on it so far and both came with screws that were too long. I went to a shop and had them grind down my screws until they no longer bottomed out. the stepchild rep told me union and burton screws should be the right size but i haven't checked it out myself.

edit #2:
i just broke the board again in the same way- sidewall, core, bent edge, separating base. i brought it to a shop and the guy had just fixed another board with the same damage and said it was due to a hard landing or nose or tail heavy landing and the board just cracks right next to the binding. looks like this thing really isnt very durable. if it's a park board it should be able to stand up to a few flat landings.

what's the lightest lens? like something good for night skiing. goggles made for motocross all have clear lenses but would they fog up quicker with only the single-lens thing goin on?

I keep this with me every day in my jacket pocket and get lots of use out of it. The other stuff that comes with it is cool too I guess. But if you want just the tool (which is sick), try lookin for it by itself to save some moneys.

Pro-tec B2 Snow Helmet

Pro-tec B2 Snow Helmet

Rating for this product: 5 January 22, 2010

I've had this helmet for 4 years now, and wouldn't buy another. I've never been cold in this helmet- I've also always had a head of hair or worn a bandana underneath when I had a shaved head and mohawk. Best part though is the foam is rated for multiple impacts so I don't have to worry how well my helmet will work after every crack on the head.
