Arc'teryx Borderline Button-Down Shirt - Long-Sleeve - Men's

Nubian brown is not nearly as light as pictured it is a dark brown. Fit is a tiny bit looser in the armpits and around the waist than the peakline.

It does have a mesh back, and feels a little more burly than the peakline.

compared to BD Bandit

Mammut Nirvana Rocker 20L Pack

Mammut Nirvana Rocker 20L Pack

Rating for this product: 5 July 23, 2012

I also have the BD Bandit pack. The mammut is supposedly a larger size, however unloaded they look the same. Maybe fully stuffed the bandit is narrower, but a little longer and sticks out maybe an inch less. The BD might fit a bigger guy (I'm a M, 5'10") better as the straps start off wider at the top.

The diagonal ski carry on the Mammut is inventive. First off the bottom loop is in the bottom right corner, and can be retracted via an adjuster inside the pack. When not in use it's stowed and won't get hung up. The top strap also stows inside a pocket. The only downside is the bottom strap therefore has a hole, and in theory a little moisture could get it in.
The BD pack the bottom strap in the middle, which seemed awkward for carry as the skis hit my legs (untested in a real boot pack though). The BD bottom strap is always dangling there, which I'm concerned will get caught on a chair/tree branch. The top strap is an unattached adjustable nylon strap with a buckle to be looped to one of the two top loops, the BD strap could get lost.

The mammut fits snugger for me, the "liane/smoke" is not yellow, it's a mustardy lime green. It definitely is more feature laden and stylish.

I got the platypus 3L big zip which is a few inches too tall for the pack, so the top of the bladder may have to be folded over. Also the mouthpiece is big and barely fits into the shoulder strap zipped shroud. The BD's sleeve is more roomy, but lacks the insulated lining of the mammut...

Mammut Nirvana Rocker 20L Pack

The loops for ski carry have a lot of slack. It can definitely it them through the loops, comfortable or not I can't say.

Runs a bit small/narrow

Giro Surface S Helmet

Giro Surface S Helmet

Rating for this product: 4 September 14, 2011

Light and nice looking,

However it does run a bit small/narrow. I fit perfectly into a Giro G10 (MX)in Medium with the adjuster all the way open. My head measure 59.5

This one does not fit in M, it's too narrow. I can feel the foam and plastic from the adjuster pressing into my head.

Sorel 1964 Premium T CVS Boot - Men's

January 27, 2011

You probably need to unlace and relace since if you don't your foot is going to be sliding around, heel coming out etc. But for just walking the dog or something like that it's probably ok.

I wear a 10 in Nike, (27 mondo ski boot), I got these in 9 and they fit perfect. It was snug at first but the toasty removable felt liner breaks in and after it's just right, any smaller would be too small though in the length. It is very wide.

No arch support whatsoever, if you want to put an insole in, you might want to consider sizing up.

I wouldn't wear them to hike long distances since they are sloppy around the ankle and heel, and very bulky.

Warm (hot even), comfy, totally waterproof, and good for walking / standing around in deep snow.

Spyder Patsch Tech Softshell Jacket - Men's

Spyder Patsch Tech Softshell Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 November 17, 2010

Black Houndstooth Medium. I'm 5'9" 160lbs, skinny. With just a base layer it fits perfect, not too baggy. It's snug with a light midlayer (like a light fleece). The jacket has no stretch, and thus it is a bit constricting in the arms and chest over a layer. Beads water a decent bit. The only other complaint is that the zipper is weak, small, difficult to use with gloves and easy to miszip such that it comes apart. I plan on using it on sunny spring days on the slopes. Super stylish and a good value.

Line Prophet Flite Ski

October 14, 2010

I'm looking for a ski for my girlfriend whose is just becoming intermediate. She's 5'6 / 130 lbs. Would this ski in a 158 be better for her than say a Line Celebrity?

This is probably softer/more forgiving right?

Pricey but sweet

Spyder St. Anton Jacket - Men's

Spyder St. Anton Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 April 6, 2009

Go-go gadget coat.

There are a gazillion pockets for specific things like goggles, keys, etc. Exudes quality with incredible details in construction and materials. Very warm.

I looks exceptionally stylish on, and around town.

It's a nice resort skiing coat, with an old-school feel.
