Too low cut at the waist

The North Face Freedom Insulated LRBC Pant - Women's

The North Face Freedom Insulated LRBC Pant - Women's

Rating for this product: 3 April 9, 2012

For my liking, it was too low cut, letting cold air, etc. in. I ended up returning them for this reason only. Otherwise, they were a good fit.

Board sucks

Surftech Stretch Fletcher Surfboard

Surftech Stretch Fletcher Surfboard

Rating for this product: 1 November 30, 2010

I hate this board. I have an eps stretch quad, 6'1, 18 1/2, 2 3/8. Love that one. This Surftech version is way too thick (6'1 version) and too wide at 19+. It's a dog. All the negative things they say about the Tufflites show up on this model...stiff, too buoyant, etc.

The 6'1 wasn't for me... at 5'10, it might have been different.

Surftech Stretch F4 Surfboard

November 30, 2010

uhh, thanks(?) yan for your input but i was hoping to hear from backcountry directly since they would know what they have and the specs. The Stretch F4 is under a separate listing so, it would be safe to assume that this one is not the F4.

It's also plainly obvious that JS isn't the shaper...thus, the name Stretch as in Reidel, the actual shaper.

Surftech Stretch F4 Surfboard

The Stretch Quad TL2 doesn't come in a bat tail nor does it come in yellow from the manufacturer. Can you confirm that the 6'1 is a TL2.

Not cut right

The North Face Geographica Jacket - Men's

The North Face Geographica Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 2 October 24, 2008

I really wanted to like this jacket. I like the material, the pockets, the overall look but the jacket was cut weird. It's really tight on the upper back so if you have any sort of lats, it feels cramped. Then it flares out midway and the bottom is wider than the middle of the jacket. Basically cut for a woman. If the cut was for a guy, this would have been a keeper.

Not that great a bag

DAKINE Split Convertible Rolling Gear Bag - 6425cu in.

DAKINE Split Convertible Rolling Gear Bag - 6425cu in.

Rating for this product: 3 October 17, 2008

It's a nice bag overall but this could have been a stellar bag if they put more thought into it. One reviewer said both sides were a little too shallow. That was spot on. The half w/ the wheels should have been 4-6 inches wider. It's way too narrow for anything but clothes. The other half could have had an access zipper to the main compartment from the top. As it stands, if you forget about something you wanted to pack, you have undo the whole thing to throw it in. Given the price for this bag, I wouldn't buy it or recommend it. I wish returning it wouldn't cost me 20-30$. I would have definitely returned it.
