Merrell Siren Sport Hiking Shoe - Women's
May 9, 2012
Love these shoes! They worked amazing for hiking around in the desert and while exploring the nearby slot canyons. I have wider feet and these fit great! Buy these true to size, they will fit perfect with a pair of hiking socks. Highly recommended for anyone!

Has anyone installed this on a 2005-2007 Subaru Outback on the factory racks? Just wondering if I will be able to open the back hatch all the way? Thanks

Armada ARW Ski - Women's
January 4, 2012
This ski is more of a park oriented/all mountain groomer ski. It would not be the best for backcountry/powder because it is only 83 underfoot. You would want something wider for all BC/pow. I recommend anything from 95-110 underfoot. Highly recommend the http://www.backcountry.com/armada-tstw-ski-womens for backcountry/pow/all mountain!

If all your time is spent in bounds I would definitely go for the Bacon! The EP pros are 127 underfoot which is quite a big waist for an all mountain ski. The Bacons are going to be super floaty on days when its dumping, supportive in the crud, and a killer groomer ski when your in the mood. I ride the bacons and love em. You would love the EP Pros as well in pure pow, but I think the more versatile Bacon you will have a great winter on

Rossignol FKS 140 Ski Binding

The specs for your skis are 130/87/115 mm. 87mm is the waist size. The size Large in these bindings works for a 90mm waist so they will fit just perfectly with the skis you have now!

Im 5'3 and have the skis in the 172. I highly suggest the 172 for you due to your weight, height, and what style of skiing you do. As said above, the more aggressive skier, generally the longer the ski. You seem to be able to handle lots of terrain and the 172 will have enough length so you will be able to charge on them everywhere, but they won't be too long that you will feel overpowered in crud and making tighter turns. I think you will love the 172!

You should mount them 5cm back from true center or 1cm forward from recommended, thats where mine are at, that 1cm will give you a bit more tail support in the pow and/or landing switch. You do not want to go any more than 3 forward from recommended b/c it will take away from the beauty of this ski in the pow and groomers. Just a heads up there is 6cm from suggested mount to pure center.
