Extremely comfortable, can be used for skiing or snowboarding (I'm an sber). Just came back from a day trip and immediately had to give praise to these gems. Felt no pain in the knees after taking hard spills in the icy icy east coast groomed trails. I wore them under my outerwear pants and wore boxers under only, no base layer and it was still very comfortable even though you will know the kneepads are there. It wasn't a problem for me since the protection they offer was amazing and didn't impede on any of my movement. Wish I had a pair of these when I first started out snowboarding, would've saved a lot of pain and bruises over the years. A Must Buy! Worth every penny!
