Ortovox Haute Route 35 Pack

I've been in search for a sweet looking pack with just as much functionality as looks. The HR35 was my choice for this after a LLLLOOOONNNNGGGG time researching and comparing. I had some pretty specific characteristics I was looking for; great waist belt for weight distribution, functionality as a ski pack and as a backpack for places like Disneyland with the fam or MotoGP races with the bros, all while looking money. This pack almost hit the bullseye for all of this. I'd say it hit the circle around the bullseye, only because the main compartment zipper in the back is a little difficult to unzip and access your stuff. I think this is due to the rigid back panel aiding as a spine protector and weight distributor. I can't describe how awesome this pack looks in person though. It is by far the tightest looking pack I've seen. The details that went into the asthetics really give it a cool look, yet every detail serves are specific and useful purpose. Overall I am very pleased with the purchase, and BC.com is by far the best online retailer out there. Thank you! I have the black raven, which is a great color choice. Only other knock is there is no dedicated goggle/sunglass pocket with soft protective liner.
