Wet Feet Are Miserable

Vasque Blur XCR Trail Running Shoe - Women's

Wet feet are miserable, but that's what I have after three weeks with these shoes. This is my third pair of Vasque, following two pair of Velocity XCR. None of these shoes were water-tight after more than a few weeks of daily 4 mile + runs in varied conditions, including rain and heavy dew. I thought I'd try one more time and switch models just in case, but same old same old. The shoes held up long and well otherwise. The cushioning is not luxurious but my feet don't hurt or get blisters, and I have a wider foot that likes a lot of room. A touch of bowling shoe in the styling but plenty of reflective accent is a good thing for evening runs. I don't think there's much to be gained by going Gore-Tex, but it's a pretty nice shoe overall.
