The North Face Ultra 102 Trail Running Shoe - Men's

I have been running, backpacking for 42 years. There is no question in my mind that these shoes are the best shoes for running on any surface. I over-pronate and wear orthotics and they are the most stable shoe I have worn. They are light, outsole is great on all surfaces, wet or dry, soft but cushy, and the midsole is impenetrable (well, I got carried away...), and yet it has a flexible "toe off." My son got a pair and he has some problem getting the lacing right, but he is working on it. No complaints, yet. I only wish TNF would call themselves "North Face" as no one seems to know how to alphabetize them, so their 'stuff' gets missed by savvy doodz like me. (I was paid by Jim at RCA to say all this...I am really a 14 year girl who lives in Yonkers) PS. Oh yeah, don't backpack in these shoes unless you want to break your ankles.
