I was really excited about these based on the reviews but when I wore it for the first time it did not keep my cool at all and in fact the extra layer made me overheat.

I absolutely love these bibs. Super comfortable and the fabric breathes really well in the Texas heat. The straps are quite comfortable and even after spending 6 1/2 hours on the bike I didn't feel them at all. I am 6' and weight 170 lbs and the large fits perfect. I also love the leg length, not too long but not too short.

This is by far my favorite jersey that I own. It is super light and I love how form fitting it is...I never feel like it gets in my way. It also breathes really well and keeps me cool while on 110 degree rides in Texas. This is definitely an Italian fit jersey, I usually wear a small or medium in American fit and the large fits me like it is supposed to, TIGHT. If you have a gut this jersey could be problematic.

I have 2 pairs of Castelli bibs that retailed for $200 and I prefer the Silverline bibs to the Castelli. They have a really great chamois with sufficient padding. I also like that they don't have leg grippers but still don't ride up.

Update: I ended up returning these because on rides over 35 miles I would get really chafed. I have a few buddies that these work perfectly for but they just didn't fit quite right.

I picked this sleeping bag up in anticipation of a winter ascent of Wheeler Peak in New Mexico. Upon initial inspection it seemed to be a nice bag made with good materials. It was a little on the heavy side and did not compress as much as I would have liked it to but the price was right. The first night we camped at 9,400 ft and the temperature dropped to 15 degrees and I was toasty all night. When I woke up the next day I noticed that the bag was damp towards the bottom of the bag but it didn't seem to be an that big of an issue so we kept moving. The second night (which ended up being our last night) we camped at 12,000 ft and a huge snowstorm moved through dropping the temperature to 0 degrees. Once again I was toasty until about 3:00 am and I starting getting chilled especially below my waist. I shoved my down jacket in my sleeping bag and wrapped it around my waist to get me through the night. The next morning when I woke up around 6:30 the inside of my sleeping bag was completely frozen with ice. Somehow in the middle of the night moisture had crept into the down and froze solid. The snow storm ended up forcing us down before we made the summit but I don't know if I could have made it through another night with this bag. Needless to say that I lost my faith in this bag and I'm going to be returning this bag today.

I got this stove right when it came out directly from Snow Peak and I am completely in love with it. I also own the MSR Pocket Rocket and this stove blows it out of the water. It smaller, lighter, and puts out more heat than the PR. I have only been able to use it once on a three day backpacking trip in Arkansas and it performed flawlessly. Excellent simmer capability, relatively stable platform, and solid construction makes this a must buy. I don't know how it behaves in windy or cold conditions, but canister stoves in general don't work amazing. I can't speak to the fuel efficiency of this stove, but it still seems like I have a fair amount of fuel left after cooking for 3 other people in Arkansas. I would recommend this to anybody who is looking for an ultra-light stove.
