The first pair of trek lights I received had some stitching problems, but BackcountryStore.com replaced them with a new pair just in time for my summer research. The pair I'm wearing now are getting a workout on the North Slope of Alaska hiking over wet tundra. My bad knees love the light weight, strong support combination. My loose ankle feels perfectly safe in these boots with a great women's ankle fit. The waterproofing is an added bonus. My feet get clammy and cold easily and these boots do cut down on that as compared to the full leather boots I've had for the past ten years, but they don't completely eliminate it. Overall, I'm glad when I finally bought new boots, I got some that seem to serve me well and seem pretty tough.
