Warm but not dry

I have used these all winter in Oregon. That means rain and lots of it. If its just sprinkling and above 40 F, these are the ticket. Below about 40 and full on downpour - it takes something else.
Yesterday I put a pair of thin wool liners on under them and was relatively warm, but soaking wet. I did say relatively warm right? Great for fall and spring cool morning rides.
